Thanks! He has been an amzing dog and even more beautiful at 4 years old. The song is called Gentle Movement: Merrily Along from an obscure album called Background Music for Home Movies, Vol 2. They were popular in the 1960's when families showed home movies and needed background music. Both albums are on Spotify.

I have never owned a dog. Ask me last year if I like dogs and I would have told you I hated them. But a few months ago I realized how I really never gave them a chance. In the past months I have fallen in love with a dog I do not yet even own. I've become obsessed with the idea of owning our first dog. I wake up every morning thinking about dogs and go to sleep each night praying to get one. This summer, we are adopting our first dog- a German Shepherd. I can do nothing but earn as much money as possible and pray that we get a healthy, happy pup. There is absolutely nothing in the world that I love more than German Shepherds.

This is just awesome. I always loved gsd but never really realized how beautiful and smart they are until we got one. Ours is 7+ months old and shows his intelligence real well. Very big boy and has some more to go until he is full grown.

we lost ours 1 year ago this month. he was 10 yrs old. best ten years of my life. seeing this makes me want to get another one so bad.

Wow, I’m a huge GS fan starting as a teen in the 80s and in shows, and I NEVER heard of that great German Shepherd song!!!!

Yeah my gsd is 11weeks n same stomach probs diaorea all the time I was quoted by vet assistant "vets are expensive" no kidding braking my Hart😞

I've been raising an "import" GSD, raised in America, from "working stock" over in Europe. Somewhere near the old East Germany/Poland area. He's a year old now, black as coffee, and literally throws himself at passing vehicles (while leashed), apparently believing them to be stray sheep of some sort. Has anybody ever heard of such a thing? "Working Stock" should be a big red flag for anybody wanting a simple family dog. They are pretty wild.
