I think the reason they're so calm is that they're together. They're obviously very comfortable with each other and it is clear they also comfort each other even in new situations. Notice that right at about 2:15 the shepherd gives a little "comfort bite" to the kitten (who obviously has been through this before and doesn't overreact). Then again at about 3:28 when the kitten is being almost intrusively (from a cat's perspective) examined, the shepherd is right there to give some comfort ("here I am... everything is going to be OK"). Both of these animals sooth the uncertainty in each other and that is why I think they're so well behaved.

I have never seen such a chilled out cat at vet office 🥰🤩

They are both calm, very surprising. Rocky is a good guy trying to get close to and protect the kitten. I like him the most.

Incredible ! They are so relaxed ! Have they taken any drug ? . Rocky might be exhausted back from a walk... But how Simon can be so cool ? Another reason, it's so hot, both of them are KO ? You are very good at raising these animals !

I really dont understand why some pets freak out at vets. My baby has always loved her vet.

At first I thought Simon was nervous because he arched his back, but he seemed to relax when he realized his big brother Rocky was there to protect him. Such a beautiful gentle friendship.

The cat fell asleep while it's temperature was being taken from rear??!! Both animals were feeding of each other's calmness. Awesome!!

Look at those paws! And how calm they are both of them 💕

My cat has fun at the vet. Trying to get into cupboards, get the jars of treats, meet new people. She is crazy fun.

Maybe it is the fact that he was trained with or as a dog so he picked up similar docile behavior. I don't think it is impossible to train cats like this without them having a dog companion. My kitties are similarly well behaved. Despite not sleeping while getting their temperature taken, they will calmly accept what is happening and not whine or bolt or fight back. It's partly personality, training by the human, and peers setting examples or reinforcing behavior.

Even humans are less composed than these wonderful pets, I feel like hugging these cute pets.

I had never sseen such quiet animals at the vet. Simon and Rocky have surprised me. 😱😱 I love them ❤❤

It's safe to say that both kitten and puppy are KZread stars and not shy in front of the camera. Both are Gorgeous, thumbs up.

Your baby boy did such a good job at the doctor's office. Dad did everything right with holding the head and the mouth. At some of the vet offices they won't even ask you about a muzzle they just grab one and put it on them. I got very lucky with the vet I go to. This office is the official vet office for the county I live in police department. They see German shepherds all day. My first baby girl was so loved by her doctor that when she heard us out in the lobby she would come out and grab my baby and take her in the back to see everybody and give her lots of treats. A lot of times she wouldn't even charge me for a visit. She just thought my baby was very special and she was to me. It's always good to have a good working relationship with your vet. If you or your babies don't feel comfortable find a new one. I just love that puppy face you took excellent videos. Thanks for sharing your adventure with your baby.
