So I have B1 german level and I have a bachelor's degree from South Africa that has been compared to a German bachelor's degree but it is a unregulated profession in Germany so the employer can decide if my skills are required. Is having this degree sufficient to apply for the opportunity Card?

Hey hey, Thank you so much. I don't think a non-resident of Germany can give you a commitment letter that will be accepted. it's best to look for someone that is legally resident in Germany.

HND is not considered as bachelors in Germany, as far as I know. People with HND still need to do bachelors here. Regarding notorizing your degree, I’m not completely sure if it’s compulsory

When is it starting? I heard they will start this year.

Hi, Please I am hearing you need an appointment date for Chancekarte and currently in Nigeria, it’s difficult getting an appointment date. To even begin with, putting an appointment is totally unnecessary .The Opportunity Card pathway is similar to Canada Express entry and once you have your Invitation to Apply, you should be able to travel with or without an appointment date. I would like to ask what Nigerians in Germany are doing about this?

hey, I'm trying to understand you but how can one travel without a visa and how can you get the visa without an appointment date and if they allow walk-ins without an appointment to the embassy, don't you see that it would lead to more chaos at the embassy? What we would be praying for it that they give faster appointment dates and not the one where you have to wait for months.
