No grammar is logical. It's really no harder than any other language I've studied until you get to advanced grammar but that's true of all languages. Regarding the umlaut vowels, the 'ae' is pretty easy for most people and 'ue' and 'oe' are hard because they are rounded front vowels, which is unusual across most languages. Even if you look at the closely related language Yiddish, the umlaut vowels become unrounded as well. Most of the consonants are easy with the possible exception of 'ch'.

Oh man, i only can imagine how hard it is to learn german as a non native speaker. It doesn´t make it easier to learn it through neglish either since you just don´t have the words to ask for the different cases, so you know which case it is and which form of the verb to use. Is it like a serious thing for you or just learning it, because you can? Anyways very relaxing video and showed me how hard german can be as a non-native speaker. If you are still learning it, feel free to ask for help. :)
