What is ASMR?
Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response
A feeling of well-being combined with a tingling sensation in the scalp and down the back of the neck, as experienced by some people in response to a specific gentle stimulus, often a particular sound.

• Sensory - about the senses or sensation
• Meridian - signifying a peak, climax, or point of highest development
• Response - referring to an experience triggered by something external or internal

ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory or visual stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control.

i remember when i was in middle school i would tell the teacher to help me on purpose cause when she would turn pages or like rub it,it would make me sleepy!back then i didnt know what it was called and i thought i was weird for that!glad to now know there are millions who feel the same way😂

I recently took up book binding and I want to rebind this book so bad. The poor spine 😭
i somehow wind up waking up to these videos often when i fall asleep to asmr and it’s pretty nice actually lol

I like to watch antique books and the special old sound the pages make. Good to let people choose with or without background rain sounds. I preferred the rain part. Thanks for this great video Jenn 🧡🧡

This one is an 1852 edition. It's in pretty rough shape. Every time I pick it up, it falls apart just a little bit more. 😪
