I love that they made this a quiet moment instead of a bombastic display of pent up love. It feels more sincere this way.

For sure one of the most beautiful scenes of the whole show.

I’ve been watching the series for 2 weeks straight. The signs were there from the beginning. Like a Wagnerian opera, we have seen dozens of obstacles thrown at them. This tender scene is the best I’ve seen in years.

Beautiful singing by Christian Friedel. He actually makes German sound like a romantic language to sing in, which is no mean feat.

Nothing could be better than this. It embodies the heart and soul of love in its purest form. Intimate, honest, understated, but satisfying and beautiful.

Such a wonderful chemistry, between the both characters.... Brilliant serie.

So perfect. The tone of the series has changed so much since the beginning. As everything begins to unravel and they are tumbling inexorably towards chaos, they have this one moment of tender, perfect bliss

What we’ve been waiting for...

I remember finally seeing this scene, they didn't go over the top and that was nice. You root for them the whole time and then you kind of forget about it and then they subtly sneak it in. I love this show can't wait for season 4.

@@blupatches3030 I don't believe it has released in the US yet. I know there are many books in the series. I don't usually read stories but if the show is this good I bet the books are too

Best TV series ever. And I am not German fluent. Subtitles are sufficient.

This series, just is so genuine and beautiful. I love every second of that show. I wold say it is in my top 5. I dream of being in that movie at times it was just so magical to watch 🤩😍

This is such a beautiful scene. Charlotte is especially adorable here as she looks across the room at Gereon before slipping back into the next room.

In a world unraveling faster and faster everyday as their nation descends into the darkness of nazism, these two still manage to carve out a beautiful moment of pure love. It breaks my heart every time.
