Ppl are so anal about everything. If you want to take away making fun of stereotypes, that means you should wipe cartoons OUT. Things are cherry-picked in what is offensive. White straight people cannot say anything? Isn't it natural for someone straight to be uncomfortable with something gay upfront? They can do what they want but I don't want to watch. I am also a bit formal. In other words, I do not want to tolerate my friends having sex right next to me. Get a room.

Ain’t that the truth….. I watch television very rarely these days. I was a kid watching Flip Wilson and I used to mimic him. My parents were laughing so hard!!!! Good Times!

She was a rockstar! Thank you Flip for making this happen-you broke and set boundaries and rewrote them. Right on!

Flip Wilson as Geraldine was always a delight! So funny!

RIP and thanks for the wonderful memories Mr. Wilson, Mr. Conway and Mr. Reynolds.

Flip was hilarious, an these guys was on the edge of losing it in this skit. Good memories , an awesome comedy is the legacy of flip Wilson. U couldn’t watch his skits without cracking up.

Always loved how Geraldine made it clear there are boundaries and don’t cross them. And always appreciated that Flip, a guy dressed as a woman got it, said it and kept saying it. RIP and know you are still missed 💐

That was my thought as well! I am jealous and I definitely could not wear any of Geraldine's outfits.

Geraldine Jones was the absolute greatest! The most real! I love her!

Flip Wilson’s comedic prowess was truly a gift. His Geraldine was genius. I remember LMAO as a child watching him. And, even now, I still LMAO!😂

First time I've seen Tim break with anyone other than Harvey. All three were having fun.

Burt Reynolds was already laughing before the sketch started. As Flip himself said his show was so popular in Canada it played 52 weeks a year!

Hee-hee. Our nephew was given the Flip Wilson doll for a Christmas present. We made fun of it when he brought it to a family get together. Then we started to pull the string. We wore it out. "If I had known you were coming, I would have stayed home." or "I smell a fish and the wind is coming from your direction." Loved Flip Wilson, Tim Conway.

All of them actually went to the great comedy show in the sky. Those were actually you call clean comedy show back then?

You could tell Burt Reynolds was about to "LOSE IT" a few times!!!! HaHa!!!!

I love Flip Wilson! He was so funny--and didn't use foul language and vulgarities. Genuinely a very funny man who was so underrated. I used to watch his show and really enjoyed it. I don't think he ever got the recognition he so richly deserved as a superb comedian. Someone who seems like he was a great guy in real life.

Ahh back when you could smoke everywhere. Tv shows when Johnny Carson did it all the time. Airplanes were equipped with ashtrays. Heck I can even remember when you could buy Tylenol with Codeine over the counter!

i would bet just about anything that ron desanyis watched this and probably loved it.

Geraldine had all the latest fashions and expensive boots many women would’ve given their right eye for. It wasn’t technically integral to the character. I wonder who it was that insisted on Geraldine’s wardrobe being so hip.
