@@stephanielekas583It's not about it being clean imo. I'm sure there are clean comedians today. The issue now is political correctness. This would be seen as highly offensive. Ppl are so anal about everything. If you want to take away making fun of stereotypes, that means you should wipe cartoons OUT. Things are cherry-picked in what is offensive. White straight people cannot say anything? Isn't it natural for someone straight to be uncomfortable with something gay upfront? They can do what they want but I don't want to watch. When TV was GREAT.
I love Ger!
< still can't believe that Burt turned down Sally Field, married Loni Anderson, divorced Loni, and years later, when he was old and broken down, tried to win Sally back over. she didn't take the tired, old, worn out bait.

He could just call himself one today.
Flip was a bit "too," convincing while dressing up as Geraldine Jones. 🌈
I always thought Burt R was a bit of a narcissistic dick. That aside, Tim and Flip were great.
Again, please explain to me why these red states are trying to outlaw drag shows? It’s such a classic form of entertainment. Flip was the greatest!

Good grief. You told a lie. The thinking is simply, don't put adult humor, including drag queens in front of children. Allow them to keep their innocence.

LOL We don't want those perverts around our kids! Have you actually seen those "shows" or at least photos from them? It's nothing REMOTELY like a Flip Wilson character.

Back then, for a man to impersonate a woman was strictly for comic effect. There was a time when women weren't allowed to perform on stage, preteen boys played female parts. Flip was arrow straight.

Funny how no one freaked out about drag when it was Flip Wilson who did it. How about Tony Curtis and Jack Lemon and bob Hope and on and on . Drag was a not big deal, what is it now. OH the GOP is full of hate. that is the difference.
