RIP Mr. Gerald Levert. RIP Mr. Sean Levert. When my sister informed me of the passing of the teddy bear 🧸 I cried . The tragic and untimely passing of Gerald and Sean broke my heart. Mark love you too. RIP Hev! These men left their mark on the world. I had an opportunity to see Mr. Levert and Kelly Price perform along with LL Cool J while visiting my sister in Baltimore at free concert at one of the famous parks. Every time I think of King Gerald I smile and cry. I felt like he was family. He had an undeniable beautiful warm smile.
Man Gerald was a fool he knew he could cut up & roll around on the floor; I just loved him such a great entertainer ‼️🎤🎤
“Pop pop pop pop goes my mind” classic
He lost both of his sons not even a year apart 💔💔

Gerald was a fine guy 😌 Rest on King 👑
So Sad Abt Gerald & How They Did Sean!! I Can't Even Begin To Fathom What His Parents Went Thru & Are Still Going Thru!! #RIPGERALDLEVERT & #SEANLEVERT 🙏🕊🙏🕊🙏🕊🙏
I cried when big homie died and cried when Whitney and Mike died also..
Gerald was one of my generations GREATEST writers.
Great story on G. The Grammy was won in 2007. The song was In My Song from his last solo album. I’m a big fan of G. I have over 100 albums of collaboration as a songwriter and producer of other artists.
I hate that record labels think they know what WE want. Gerald had multiple generations that loved his music. I still remember where I was when I heard the news. I went into work and we all, men included, had a very somber day.
Rip 💐💐💐 Ms. Levert ,Gerald and Sean prayers to the family 💛💛💛 "I'm still" one of my favorite songs by Levert
I know the hurting feeling his dad feels burying his kids before they can bury him. R.I.P. Gerald and Sean I still jam the Levert music especially Casanova and Answering service, I remember the new jack scene singing Living for the city
Gerald sounded JUST LIKE his Dad.
RIP KING ! Luv that Documentry
I'm loving these❤. Keep up the good work. RIP Gerald.

Gerald Levert was sooo talented! 🔥🔥🔥 Yes please do a review on Heavy D! 🙏🏾
RIP Gerald Levert🙏🏾🙏🏾🕊🕊♥️♥️
The late great Gerald Levert was the greatest soul singer of his generation he did create his own identity and his own distinct vocals similar to his old man but he has more improvisation than his dad he could also sing in falsetto please folks check out Gerald Levert on Closure, Baby You’re Funny and When it matter released as a Japanese bonus in Groove On.

Noooooooo lol Eddie was NO MF JOKE when it came to ad libs and improvisation….he has a catalogue of over 5 decades Gerald was a singular talent and as we now see a generational touchstone but paring him with his dad was almost like putting Rick James and Smokey together on a song Trust and believe Eddie was holding back lol

@@akeemhudson9769 Well I know when you’re coming from if Gerald was here today he would be the first to admit the huge influence from his dad and many other soul legends before him but as of his generation he was ahead of his time. His dad admitted he took the music game to another level he was an underrated songwriter and producer. He learned the game from the best he’s missed.

Damn losing two sons in less than two years is DEVASTATING 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Thanks for the story! He is sooo missed🥰🧸
Gerald Levert had ascended to another level there was/is no competition between him and Usher and Justin Timberlake of all ppl That’s an insult
RIP Levert brothers
This was a great story. Like every woman out her I too was n luv with him. I still 😢 hearing his songs. Thank you for this.
LSG was an amazing group with great music 🎶 ❤️❤️ RIP KING🕊
Gerald Levert was one of favorite singers. I sure do missed him a lot
I saw that documentary about his father and he definitely blamed his self for Gerald getting into the music industry! And ur right he shouldn't blame his self, because they really wanted to get into the music industry!
This is absolutely tragic losses to his parents and family members.
I still have their "I get hot" cassette. I love and miss Gerald. Levert was a great group. Gerald has wonderful solo projects as well.
PRAYERS OF LOVE AND❤💯 STRENGTH TO FAMILY ❤💯 PRAYERS OF SALVATION TO ALL❤💯
Great story telling. 👏🏾 . My favorite Gerald LeVert song 🎵 is "Whatever it takes" song by Anita Baker. Gerald LeVert wrote it. The words my God. What was he thinking and experiencing at the age of 22 or 24. Everytime I hear this song I get in my feelings and cry. I personally think when Whitney Houston (Our last cupid) and Gerald LeVert (Our last real crooner) died is when love music stopped. When black folks started falling out of love with each other and started a division. I personally think it systematic? It seemed like both artists love loved, wanted to be loved and wanted others to FEEL love. I miss good men (gentlemen), I miss love songs and I miss good love ❤️.

We stopped loving and singing about love to each other that's when black folks frequency went self destructive
I absolutely love your voice and your delivery! Killing it fella…
I wanted to marry this man when I was young I love him so much i wish I would’ve had a chance to meet him
Sean's last moments are so hard to watch
These stories are always very sad 😥 to tell, like the Mighty Ojay's, Gerald LeVert, was so gifted just like his father Eddie of the Ojay's, this was such an amazing family of singers, you are missed Gerald 😥.
his music was so and wonderful make you want to sang and Enjoyed thank for the music and memory
Gerald Levert, one of the best vocalists that ever did it!!! We jus coolin as usual..... RIP G!
I'm sorry he went out like that
Very well done! Sad but informative. Great singer who died too young! Sad about Sean too.
Never knew they were Jehovah Witness
Them prison officers are devil's for treating Gerald Levert, brother like he is nothing. Seeing that footage of them man handling him on the floor made me cry. He was treated inhuman by them prison officers on purpose just because of who he was he got hated on for being a black man with a high profile. Whenever black entertainers fall from grace they always end up with no money which for me is crazy and not a coincidence. Gerald Levert, was such a blessed man he felt like he had to get back on the raod to make money to take care of not just himself, but all the other people around him in need that is amazing. But he needed to rest up and concentrate on his health first as health is wealth. But on a real this is why they say money is the route of all evil. I can see why his father was trying to protect him from the industry and all the pressure that comes with being famous.
I will always Love you G wherever he is in the spirit world you is sing RIP G we will always remember G and Sean
My deepest condolences goes out to the loved ones of the Levart Brothers. 🤲🏽💜
I never knew or met him, but he's my cousin on my Dad's side. I was shocked when I found out! That's super sad what happened to his brother😔😡. R.I.P to them both💕.
I loveeeeeee me some Gerald Levert!!! 🖤 At the tender age of 10, I asked my mom if I could sing “Thinkin Bout It” or “Answering Service” at the yearly talent show. She said “NO pick another song”. Idk why I liked that song so much or what lil girl hurt my feelings but both songs were my ish 🤣🤣🤣🤣 so sad how we’ve lost so many unique voices. Him & Dino from H-Town were my favorites back in the day. Love this channel, definitely subscribing! Your voice is soothing lol 🖤

I have loved ❤️ Levert, from the moment they hit the music scene, Gerald and his brother Sean were music royalty, with a father like Eddie Levert what else could they be, these men are so missed, to their father, I know they are strongly missed.
Before he died he had duets with people including his father Eddie you are the wind beneath my wings. Rest in peace to a legend whose music touch the hearts of me & my parents. I lost my dad and the last CD he bought was gerald levert the duets. My mom & dad both loved his music and have him & the ojays / Eddie levert.

All my family is from various parts of OH: Akron, Cincy, Toledo and Cleveland. My Grandfather played the Bass, Drums, and Horns for Motown while my Grandmother was a back up singer in their earlier years in Detroit before moving to Ohio. My Mother grew up on the same street as the Levert Family and both of my Grandparents were friends of their Father, Mr. Eddie Levert. My family (Grandmother still is) grew up in “The Truth” aka as Jehovah’s Witnesses. Very small world.

Loved Gerald's music and was brought up on the music of the O'Jays. Still listening to both.
R.I.P. Gerald and Sean Leverett. Thanks for posting. I remember when all this happened. Gerald was an awesome artists and sounded nearly identical to his dad. But after listening to them both sing it was actually after Geralds death and before Sean's that I could actually tell them apart. ❤❤❤
