@@iwannaknowenandwhere9815 but you're clearly dismissive. and dismissiveness is not very empathetic. and calling someone a bitch isn't empathetic either, it's very judgemental. and i know you've lived your own story that has brought you to where you are, you've had your own disappointments with your parents, etc. personally i empathize with ginny who is, yes, using her anger as a coping mechanism for how lost and unstable she feels from her whole childhood moving around and from having a mother who (literally i will quote the show creator's words "does not know how to relate to her daughter and is not nourishing her like she should".

Parents like this can be very emotionally detached because of their trauma. Making it hard to relate to their children.

Her teeth are perfection

It's funny how everyone says Ginny is ungrateful which she kind of is, but then again she is just a teen for God's sake... And this series actually shows more of Georgia's perspective and past which automatically makes us empathize with her.. look there were a lot of shows/books/movies that portrayed Georgia's character, but the difference between them and this one in particular is that we get to see more of Mary's past which justifies her actions in the present.. idk if I make sense or not, but it's just an opinion.

Well, i know some secrets of my mother, but it doesn't give me the right to judge her and be a totally piece of sh*t. The murder secrets its creepy and scary, but I imagine that there are an reason to hide the son's letters, and it's not an excuse to Ginny yell at her mother. (English is not my native language. Ignore if there is mistakes,blah blah...)

And why did she kill the guy? Because he molested Ginny and probably was about to do something worse. She ran away from Zions parents because they wanted custody of her child. She stole money in order to be able to keep the house, also for her children. Almost everything she did was for Austin and Ginny.
