I remember their first dance when I thought that Giovanni overshadowed Georgia,who even at that stage was clearly talented. Here there was a whole section that was all about Georgia, which shows how much confidence Giovanni has in her. And she carries it all off so elegantly. Giovanni's confidence is not misplaced.Finalist for sure.

+Lee Cox In one of the early series of DWTS I quite clearly remember Len Goodman tearing a strip off Tony Dovolani for performing a Foxtrot (I think) that had very little of the dance performed in hold. In the post dance interview Dovolani dismissed his criticism by saying Len Goodman clearly doesn't know the difference between British Ballroom dancing and what he called the "International Standard". I think that is the style that is used on DWTS, and has sadly become a feature of Strictly as well.

This was when I noticed Giovanni🤣I loved their partnership the chemistry was intense I voted so many times for them

Georgia was an ok dancer until week 6 with that tango, and since then has been at the top for every week except week 7(which was still an amazing dance). I hadn't been a fan of hers until that charleston though.

Scd123 Oh right! That was the Halloween week Tango to Ghostbusters -- forgot about that -- she was great! And -- the dance I was referring to was not a Salsa, as I wrote -- it was her Samba -- week 7 -- I absolutely loved it!! I hope she gets into the Finals!!

I agree! She is an amazing dancer and what seems to be a nice person (apart from the rumour about the row between her and Jamelia) and even if she doesn't I think she should be proud of what she has achieved in this competition!

You should watch Kara Tointon & Artem on Strictly Come Dancing she won in 2010 I think they did become a couple & stayed together for a few yrs

Great to see a VW inspired American Smooth! Georgia looks stunning and Giovanni looks dashing. Would have like him to wear black to evoke that 'Kevin Costner bodyguard' vibe (and that last lift was clearly an homage to the film). When they were in ballroom hold, they were glued to each other at the hips in the exact and correct position. And when they were out of hold, you still feel they were connected to each other. These two have become so in-tuned with each other, it feels as though they have been dancing together since they were toddlers. Very moved by them. Excellent flecrkl, pivots, turns and turns which made them look like those little figurines you see in the wind-up musical box. Wonderful. Easily a ten! **standing ovation**

I didn't watch this series of strictly at the time it was on the TV, so I had no idea about any of the developing 'friendships' but catching up with the dances on here; I was just thinking to myself too, 'Were they just about to kiss, for real?' Watching all their training snippets, he seems quite smitten with her....

My favourite.I was disappointed by the dances last Saturday. There were only 2 I really liked - Jamelia's and Katie's and 1 I really loved - Georgia's. And Georgia's was the best by a long, long way. Helen and Anita are both good dancers but were both overmarked. Also very annoyed that Peter is still in the contest. Apart from his Charleston I have not liked watching him much at all. But Georgia has been climbing up the ranks slowly and steadily. I so want her and Giovanni to win!

It's a shame there have broken up made couple. Well suited

Giovanni and Georgia May Foot you should be together like Gemma and Gorka..... see strictly pro and celebs can make it work and they have a baby daughter Mia, maybe youse didn’t give it enough time.... people give up quick but this relationship was real and youse were meant to be together ❤️

what does american smooth mean? they dont dance this in the u.s.a or latin american versions of the show

what a nice Viennese Waltz... I mean, um, American Smooth.... anyways, I REALLY like Georgia, in herself, as she looks flawless, and she dances nicely, but what ruins her for me is her cheesy goofball of a partner in Giovanni. He looks like a douche when he dances, and just watching him turns me off to her sometimes, which really sucks for her. What I would've loved was if they had kept Trent from last year and paired him with Georgia. He worked wonders with Pixie Lott, Georgia could've had these same scores with him. But with Giovanni, who is rubbing me the wrong way, I just get a little frazzled at how high her scores are now and then. She IS good, but I don't know... times like this week, I think three 9's would've been fair enough. She's in it for the long haul, we all know, but she's not one I'm particularly rooting for unfortunately.
