YOU should be dancing, Abbey! Probably the best Salsa with lifts that I've seen on Strictly.

Dance of the night for me and I'm pleasantly surprised with her, for a non-dancer, she's achieved so much. She was fierce in that major lift and for being so tall that could have been easily a disaster. I hope this is her momentum, if it is she's peaking at the right time.

Considering this was his first ever season on strictly he won xD love Alijaz

To everyone saying they should have been marked down because it was more disco than salsa, the couples are given their theme and music for each dance by the producers. That's why Ola was so upset when she and Ashley were marked down for their Cowboy themed pasodoble.

Exactly part of dancing well on strictly or in general really is acting,becoming the character(s) and being one with the dance.

This is the best dance ever on Strictly. It will stand the test of time, as does this amazing disco song. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The first 40 of the series back then, Abbey and Aljaz must be very proud of that performance.

Never saw it on the night and although this is quite grainey thought it was great. Not sure how a disco number can achieve 4 x 10s when there is no technicality but it made me smile. Well done Abbey you could win it !!!

Yeah Abbey's definitely been a surprise. She's much more talented and pleasant than I thought she'd be. I don't really care what this was. She did what she was told to do and did it perfectly. Hopefully this will give her the confidence she sometimes seems to be lacking. Thought Patrick was slightly overmarked, and Natalie was significantly undermarked.

Amaazzzzinggg... But i dunno that it was PERFECT i think 40 was to generous! I swear the judges are always way to harsh on Sophie though...

This dance made me root for Abbey a bit more. Not as far as making a fan of her on Strictly but I do think that deserved a 38/9ish score and I think the producers/judges realised that there had to be a 40 by now, so in that sense I do agree with the judges that it would have been Abbey to get it. (Or Sophie but that's only because I am being biased there) Still raging about the 3 10s at Blackpool though. I think we were definitely watching something else from those 3 judges.

Not sure if it was quite worth four 10s, but nonetheless a brilliant routine! Abbey to win! :)

I disagree with you completely I think this is dance pretty special, dance of the series so far better than Susanna's paso for me. Imo while everyone upped their game on Saturday Susanna regressed.

abbey the most improved dancer - Natalie the perfectionist - tough to call but abbs got the vote - fair play,but personally I would go for the most technically gifted.

Having other dancers ruins ANY dance on Strictly. It's unnecessary and doesn't add anything.

To those who say this is "more disco than salsa": This is not Salsa at all. The bit in hold is called The Hustle. A 3-count hustle. No salsa content whatsoever. Not even the basic 123mark567mark beat. Len gave Natalie & Artem an 8 for "lack of foxtrot" even though the dance was perfectly executed; so this "salsa" should have been given a 6 for complete lack of content; for the wobbly and slow spins; for lack of originality -- even the red dress is almost a lift from Sat Night Fever; for lack of finesse.... Don't know what happened with Craig that night. He normally spots these things.

I guess nine years ago BBC did not care to deinterlace, what a shame.

@@ltaylor3033 Ajaz, I know. As are all the others in the ensemble. I was just making a point of how good Abbey Clancy was and, as Craig said, it was difficult in the group moves to tell her apart from the professionals.

A good dance, sure, but never a 10. To give it a 10 is to suggest it's on a par with Kimberley's Cha Cha/Tango, Kara's American Smooth or Louis's Charleston. Never in a millions years. Judges are becoming more susceptible to what the public want to see rather than judging it on dance alone.

Though I guess after 8 series, it's cool a female celebrity has finally scored a 10 (and the overall score she got!) in the Salsa. Now, for a male celebrity to score a 10 in their Rumba...

Why do people think Ashley is undermarked imo his dances are good but nothing spectacular. As for the Abbey 's dance there is lots of s alsa content if people looked instead of focusing on the music and the few disco moves interspersed.

a 40 is something special, that wasn't special that was average. Susanna's Paso was special and thats why it deserved 39. This doesn't deserve 40 nor does it deserve anything above 35.

They gave James Vanessa cause they wanted rid of him cause of his outspokeness. Then they gave Ola that woose who is complaining now. All deliberate. Thought so at the time🤷 now Karma coming back to haunt them.

Travolta did much better but good effort💙✌

Abbey couldn't hold a candle to Caroline, Pixie or Frankie. Not to mention Natalie Gumede who was robbed big time.

Well, technically speaking, no she couldn't. But then again, she didn't have years of dance lessons as a child and perform choreographed music video routines and have a ballroom teacher for a mother like Frankie, didn't go to a dance school for three years in late teens AND compete in a ballroom competition before Strictly (dancing on wheels) like Caroline, nor did she train at a top theatre/dance school with a CV citing that she's *highly* trained in Cabaret Dance, Jazz dance, Latin American dance and Tap dance like Natalie. She worked hard and improved every week with no dance background, and that's what Strictly should be about.

She was excellent & hadn't been at all trained previously like those you mention. Envy is transparent & ugly. Abbey was awesome on this. Brilliant that she won. Love her.

if this gets a 40 then everyone should get a 40. I don't know why the Judges are over marking her week by week its pretty obvious to everyone. When Craig gives a 7 and the other Judges give 10s, its pretty obvious its deliberate. Personally I found this boring and most of her dances average. Its not fair for her really, I think shes a nice person but when the Judges over mark it makes me hate her even though its not her fault :L

honestly, UK's been confusing me... the dance is SALSA... not DISCO. SCD has been straying further and further away from traditional salsa music for their dances, and choosing awful choices like this, and then giving it insanely ridiculous scores. It's annoying. Does SCD think they're starting some funny new trend or something?

is this what british people call salsa?...i dont think the music matches for salsa dancing, and the moves ok, they were right and fast, but they weren't smooth or anything that seems very latin...i dont know, i didnt like it :(
