Political opposition that came out against this proposal is weak and worthless, they appose the government only to try and bring attention to themselves. They are radical, they have no support from the majority of Georgian people. I support this idea to invite South African farmers. It will be very good for Georgia. Georgia is a country with a bright future, and these people can help fulfill that potential. Property rights, and rule of law is the foundation Georgia is building it's future on.

It fell flat for the most part.. Theres a new project called "The Ark" Brendi Wells. They are targeting Georgia and a few other countries in SEA too. I spent 5 months last year checking it out. Its nice.

I have some Boer friends and today some of them have restaurants and some of them have farms (Piet Kemp is one of them)

@@filiushermesio Yeah, Piet was the first. I think he is the only one of the farmers who came when the Georgian govt invited them. There are others involved in agriculture, like Adri, but agricultural land ownership is still an issue. On the whole, the plan to welcome SA farmers didnt pan out as hoped.

Where can Namibian farmers get any info about this? Please send us also info?

@sandrowar Do you have any real numbers that would compare pre-soviet georgian agriculture with soviet one (and post-soviet)? I'm not sure that without USSR Goergians would innovate in that field, mainly because agricultuer is one of the most conservative areas

I have some Boer friends. two of them are successfully farming(One of them is Piet Kemp) and one has a Barbeque restaurant and one of them is a teacher of English at school.

Remember...not all South Africans are Boers. Not even all the Afrikaans speaking farmers are descendants of the Boers. But generally speaking, they are referred to as such.

​@maartendegroot7785 you are quite mistaken. If you are white, speak Afrikaans and you farm in SA, you are most likely an Afriakner/Boer. You have some people from other cultures and races speaking Afrikaans, but Coloureds(not a racist term) are the majority none white Afrikaans speakers. Therefore if you speak Afrikaans, you are likely either a Coloured or an Afrikaner/Boer. Afrikaners originate from a mixture of Dutch, Gean and French people in the Cape Colony. They were mostly farmers, that is why we call ourselves farmers aka Boere.

I love to see both of these persecuted peoples banding together to make something great. I know it will bring great success.

Good! The Republic of Georgia needs the 5 million whites South Africans to move in and form a white nation.

Untill ur land is Confiscated bcause ur are white until the slaughter of men woman And children will stop..slaughter means being draged behind a pickup truck on a gravel road untill only bone is left..ur 2y old daughter having boiling water poured down her throat ur grand mother raped by 5 men and then have a grinder cut up ur grand father ur children dragged off into the bush and tortured for hours while u lay in a pool of ur own blood hearing them beg for their live ALL because they are white...so pls take ur vile uniformed political chip on the shoulder poor me demonic driven drivel fall on ur knees and thank God for ur and ur families life...and untill that day remove from ur vocabiliry White Privilege bcause clearly u have No comprehesion and Only futher injure innocent human beings..

Eish - they are able to harvest twice in Georgia where they can only harvest once in South Africa. Also - the land is much more fertile than in South Africa.
