She needs to keep singing! She’s as good as her mom!

She is amazing like her parents. Im sorry about your dad, he is my all time favorite singer and idol. He really meant a lot to me. he was my dads favorite singer and my dad passed away when i was 11. So i grew up listening to George Jones to remind me of my pops. Both are missed.

Her voice just sent chills down my legs., her moms voice..

wow that was amazing i could hear hints of your moma all through it but its not because your trying to you come by it honest ...lol.. and a whole lot of you in it.....i couldnt imagine walking in your shoes in music for one second ...mom and dad both not just hard acts to follow but impossible acts to follow...but you did it yourself your own way and i have great respect for you and love your music...to tell ya the truth this song was plumb haunting hearing the moma in you coming out of you ...but it was a beautiful haunting i love it thank you so much....

Georgette came to the Newberry opera house and in my opinion I think she's the best to ever appear there. She puts on one he'll of a show she sees that every fan gets a photo or autograph and doesn't leave till the last fan does. Her show is definitely worth seeing and if it comes to your area don't miss it. She's very down to earth and such a nice person god bless you georgette

bert---No such thing as royalty in a country without a king and a church without a pope. They're no better than anyone else--sometimes worse in reading the headlines. She's capitalizing upon her mother instead of just going her own way which she has a right to do, but to me it's kind of lame. At least it's one of the few country songs with a positive message.

You can definitely tell who her folks are. Tammy and Gorege were perhaps the greatest singers and performers in country , what a voice . An American original. She should have belted it out at times, to sound more like her mama . But you know she's not her mama, she's her own person. Kinda unfair to expect that.

A long time ago, I was taught not to judge people. Georgette, does what she wants and enjoys it. she isn't in it for the money. But let me tell you she is not trailer trash, and I also taught not to judge others least you be judged, how would you like it if your kids were called trailer trash. Its not funny when the shoe is on the other foot. This was just a jam session, not the grand old opry. I think she is marevelous.

Agreed. Her mother trained as a cosmetologist and maintained her license for the rest of her life, even after country music stardom, in case she ever needed to have something to fall back on. Georgette is a Registered Nurse and does the same thing.

I feel she seems nervous on stage and a bit stiff.maybe like you said and she may come along in time. Shes nothing like her mum and dad, in my honest opinion she has her own style that's nothing like her parents.

+bain5872 They took the song down, a half step, so she could sing the song. So NOT, the band's fault. Many upon many, take the key down because: voices age, or because the singer isn't able to reach the notes, as evidenced here.

Yes, that can throw a band into uncharted waters for sure however, I can tell these guys are just not that tight. I've played professional for over 30 years and the bands I've preformed with were much tighter than these guys and that's not saying a lot. I think all in all, they did a good job though. I was just spending my 2 cents which is exactly what it is worth.

Not the band's fault. Getting a good mix recording is an art.

Audio not good - but she sounded great when i could hear her voice - sounded like a mixture, i think she could do them both. Now she should sing - white lightning - it woud be awesome!!!!
