Georgette is such a beautiful singer... if country radio hadn't lost it's mind and turned so far from it's roots I know damn well that she would be a top selling artist just like her mamma and daddy. As far as country music is concerned, she has just about the most royal blood possible, the daughter of Tammy Wynette and George Jones! The woman has country music pumping through her veins!!! She looks so much like her daddy its unreal! But she is so much more than just country royalty, this woman can really sing! Her voice is unique in it's own right- don't get me wrong, she does sound a lot like Tammy, with hints of the possum, but she really has her own unique sound... Georgette you belong up there with the greats, I wish country radio would wake up and pay attention. My wife and I have wanted to see her in concert since we found out she sometimes tours, but unfortunately we haven't had the chance yet.

Back in the early 80’s a Woman came along. George was always attracted to Women with long black hair and Olive complexions. George became attracted to this Woman but wasn’t all that “into her” so being the strong willed woman she was she got his attention and empathy by overdosing on epilepsy pills. George figured if a woman loved him that much, she must really love him…so he married her. From then on she controlled pretty much his every move. George was easily swayed by people she was no different… maybe just worse in that she could control him and convince him that people she didn’t want around him were bad and just trying to use him… including his Children. I don’t know Georgette personally, but I know the last time I talked to him was the day before he got married and he asked me if he thought I should go through with it? I told him it was up to him, that he had to make that decision. I do think that because this woman was so controlling she probably kept him alive for many more years than he would have lived. That is about the only good thing I can say. I know during their marriage she made sure she became almost as popular a George himself. That too was probably mostly because people were grateful she was keeping George alive. But anyway, I had my say.
