You , I think, are witnessing something special. I feel that this lady sounds so incredible that , perhaps, she is from a time far into the future. I am totally hypnotized by her sound .. her control .. , it is beyond belief really .. her passion, her tastes , her feeling ... it is beyond reproach ...

My kingdom of sludge to be able to triple tongue like her. Delicate, clean, ultimately precise.

Alison me encanta su serenidad i su fuerza interpretativa, a parte su técnica es impecable, los legados son encantadores, y los ataques claros. las áreas de crecimiento podrían ser un poco más contratantes pero aún así excepcional.

They play so well together, but he isn’t even named! Sometimes the camera goes to him for his solos which he plays so beautifully, but other times they’d rather focus on her putting the mute in as quietly and subtly as possible because the moment obviously belongs to the piano. #fail

He's named and also most came to hear the trumpet play, not because he isn't equally talented.

Her attacks have a very warm fuzz, that I'm not sure how to imitate on my B flat trumpet. Any ideas guys and gals? Need a C horn, I guess. Do you guys think that a C trumpet has a natural warmer tone than the B flat? I think it might, but I'm not sure. I'm working on this piece and the runs are coming along but the triplets at her speed are brutal. Any stage nervousness will kill me. Good luck to all working on this !!!!

Normally the B flat trumpet has a warmer sound. The C Trumpet is considered to have a brighter tone

Just practice your Clark studies very slowly, also play on a mouthpiece that is not so flat like a shilke 14a4a. Play on cup size like Bach 3C or something similar . Build your classical trumpet chops up, it’s diffrent then jazz. A lot of long tones and long notes. It’ll be frustrating and boring but it’s worth it when you look back and have a beautiful sound

Tough to go off such limited info, but I would guess that if you are getting too "poppy" or explosive of attacks, instead of the soft, buttery attacks you're seeking, it likely has to do with starting your tone with the air instead of your tongue. There's a master class with Barbara Butler somewhere on YT where she talks about this with a student. Try some breath attacks and "poo" attacks for a while to get the feeling of the air starting the note and the tongue is just along for the ride. Also do some long tones that gradually transition from long tone to legato tongued notes, to regular tongued notes. Also try flutter tonguing your passages first. That can help both relax your tongue and get your air moving. It's not likely the horn, as you can get those types of attacks on any horn (Bb, C, Eb, picc). Just a few ideas...

I don't really like this version. She could move the music much more and make differences between pianos a fortes.

Antonio González Calderón I don’t know if you were listening well enough but she has a good dynamic contrast. Plus it’s a solo so she can play any way

He´s name is George Enescu (not Goerges Enesco) and he´s ROMANIAN.
