I smell propaganda

While she's right, I think focusing on the slogan is a distraction. I'd much prefer to see the main criticism of slogans being that they are vacuous and a relentless challenge to those shouting slogans to instead justify their positions rationally. The fundamental issue seems to be an indifference to actually justifying your position with reason/evidence. That is something that should invite shame but is given a pass.

The rational is that Isreal is a colonial project cooked up by the brits, who reneged on their promises to palestinians paving the way for occupation, oppression, and ethnic cleansing of the indigenous population by the zionists for 100 years. Trying to paint the student protesters as somehow unreasonable and ignorant is pathetic. Isreal is committing genocide in Gaza. Anyone with eyes and a pulse should be able to see and understand that.

And, is acting upon it. Meanwhile, our State Dept spokespeople bend over backwards to pretend he didn't just say what he clearly said. Brave One: Just know your beloved Israeli government (just like our government) lies on behalf of the MIC. They're conflating your identity with their atrocious deeds.
