George is the epitome of taking your life and molding it to your will and truly living. I love how he has made sure that his Star Trek time is both a part of him but doesn't define him. I wish all TV/movie stars could learn from this. It's so depressing seeing those that live 40-50 years out as booth jockeys at conventions, always awaiting that next big breakout role instead of trailblazing forward into other avenues and letting Hollywood try and keep up with them and not the other way around.

I grew up on reruns of Star Trek and enjoyed his acting. I was surprised and glad to see him on an episode of The Big Bang Theory with Katie Sackoff and their back and forth banter. When I heard that he collaborated on a graphic novel about his and his family's life in the internment camp, I went out and bought. I found it very moving and gave me a much better understanding of the home front events during the Second World War.

God just sent the best guest to graham Norton. Can't wait to see the episode.
George is AMAZING. Some 25 years ago, he was doing a book signing, and I was nearly the last person in line and he was clearly in a hurry. But when I mentioned reading it, he turned on those megawatt eyes and gave me a smile that lit up the room. Instant love. And Howard I always think about if someone talks of 9/11. My husband and I were out, no tv, and someone had Stern on the radio. He was forced to stay on the radio live and report as he witnessed a national tragedy unfolding a stone's throw away. Respect for him. OH MY is everywhere and doesn't get old. It was even on a children's show Bubble Guppies episode George lent his captivating voice to. Things I remember forever.
What a treasure!
