Hey, did you hear about Neal Adams?

Started reading comics in ‘83. George Perez and Jim Lee were my absolute favorites with their crisp pencils. Teen Titans and Crisis On Infinite Earths we’re amazing projects!

Pérez is the closest thing we've got to KIRBY and once he's gone, no one will ever reach that close of icon status in comics ever again.

I've read a couple on this list such as JLA avengers and Crisis on Infinite earths. Planning on picking up his WW run this year which has been on my to buy list for ages. Same with Titans. What I love about perez is his ambition and the scope of his art. My thoughts go out to his family. The editing and music on this one was top notch. Genuinely one of my favourite videos from you.

I'm sad to say George Perez has passed away and I will always love his work. I appreciate this great video and thank you for making it! You've touched on some awesome work of his!... And to George Perez, the man who gave me TaskMaster and Deathstroke, I thank you.

Another great video, Marcus! Of course, because life has to be sad, Neal Adams died probably not long before you uploaded this video. It really sucks to lose these legends.

Great video mate. Was such a heartache to heart about George Perez’s illness. However great job on dedicating all the ad revenue to charity.

Bless the late George Perez. Grew up with his comics. It is a shame both DC and Marvel did not treat him with the respect he deserved. He should have gotten the best inkers, the work schedule he needed. You can’t rush fine art. But I have to disagree. Even though his layouts and story telling skills might be better as he aged, I think his art was best in the mid 80s as he was wrapping his run on The New Teen Titans and his Crisis series. I loved those unpublished Avengers/JLA pencil pages. His best art are the 2 issues of New Teen Titans he drew and inked himself - issue 39 and vol 2 issue 1.
