I remember leaving Taumarunui to watch king Country play Hawkesbay in Napier,I was around 10 years old while watching the game dad pointed out George in the crowd I was in awe,those days with dad and watching rugby were my greatest memories,good father and son times

Many say he is the greatest MAORI rugby player to play the game... wow that's huge when you think of how many of our people have played it and named in the centenary team.

As Rugby tradgic This one story I like and include like the Ella's from Australia and Erroll Tibis South Africa, George Nepia will always be be legend not just to Maori/NZ but to the Game of Rugby.
