Lyrics
I feel so unsure
As I take your hand and lead you to the dance floor
As the music dies, something in your eyes
Calls to mind a silver screen and all it's sad good-byes
I'm never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though it's easy to pretend
I know you're not a fool
Should’ve known better than to cheat a friend
And waste a chance that I've been given
So I'm never gonna dance again
The way I danced with you.
Time can never mend
The careless whispers of a good friend
To the heart and mind
Ignorance is kind
But there's no comfort in the truth
Pain is all you'll find
I'm never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though it's easy to pretend
I know you're not a fool
Should’ve known better than to cheat a friend
And waste a chance that I've been given
So I'm never gonna dance again
The way I danced with you.
Never without your love
Tonight the music seems so loud
I wish that we could lose this crowd
Maybe it's better this way,
We'd hurt each other with the things we want to say
We good have been so good together
We could have lived this dance forever
But now who's gonna dance with me
Please stay
And I'm never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though it's easy to pretend
I know you're not a fool
Should have known better than to cheat a friend
And waste a chance that I've been given
So I'm never gonna dance again
The way I danced with you.
Now that you’re gone, now that you’re gone
Now that you’re gone
What I did was so wrong, so wrong
That you had to leave me alone

'Careless Whisper' is one of the best songs in the history of pop music. A compelling and sexy voice, a fantastic sax solo, a haunting melody. . . Plus, George proved his ability as a producer. You know, this song was produced by George Michael himself. I think this is much better than the famed producer Jerry Wexler's mix, which is an early version of 'Careless Whisper' in 1983. He is sorely missed. RIP.❤

I think George Michael is underrated. We don’t consider how great he was/is. For sure up there for best singers of all time.

The most missing person ever R.I.P George 😢😢❤❤
Iconic
The God first created George Michael, and then he created the saxophone for him.
He was so kind. Mentioning the sax player mid song. Telling everyone they can sing, don't listen to what others say. We love and miss you GM
Greatness has a voice. RIP George ❤
its 2024 and if you are listening to this you have a beautiful music Taste

Man, the aferlife must have one of the greatest concert lineups of all time. George Michael, Freddie Mercury, Michael Jackson, all these great Classical pianists, David Bowie, Frank Sinatra and so many, many more. May they all rest in peace for they contributed greatly to the music industry and people's enjoyment in their lives.
