George MacKay Interview - True History of the Kelly Gang Premiere

George MacKay is interviewed at the UK Premiere of True History of the Kelly Gang, the latest movie based on the life of Ned Kelly. Justin Kurzel directs George MacKay, Essie Davis, Nicholas Hoult, Thomasin McKenzie, Sean Keenan, Earl Cave, Charlie Hunnam and Russell Crowe. The film was adapted from Peter Carey's book by Shaun Grant.
Scott Davis and David Sztypuljak were on the carpet, asking questions.
Plot: Based on Peter Carey's novel. The story of Australian bushranger Ned Kelly and his gang as they flee from authorities during the 1870s.
True History of the Kelly Gang will be released in UK cinemas on the 28th of February, 2020.

I loved this interview, you can see his passion over this role he played. I'm so looking forward to the release date of the movie here in The Netherlands! I hope to get a cinema ticket for the first screening day. And when he saw his sister, that was so cute 😂❤ Edit: I went to the prepremiere and I'm going again soon!

George is such a handsome and talented gentleman, SWOON! Love how passionate and affluent he is during the press interviews, this boy is destined to soar far and rise high indeed!
George saying "Squeeze my French" just to say the word bloody is the most British and adorable thing ever.
He travelled to Co. Tipperary in Ireland, where the Kelly family came from as part of his research. George’s great grandfather emigrated from nearby County Cork to Australia and fought in WW1 with the Anzacs. God I love this man with every fibre.
How do I even begin to explain George?
I love a man who can appreciate good music. Really hope he gets to do that Kinks film

Agreed, it felt somewhat aimless at times and I just really wasn't there for it, but the cast were all amazing and George did a great job. Being an Aussie, it made me happy he was playing an Australian character :)

Jacinta Smith yup maybe because it is difficult to make the plot to be more cinematic or interesting since it is based on true story.
the way he talk about movie is tarantino antusiams but in polite way..
