Luis N jamie saint merat told me about his chat with Kollias and this is the reason why most of his stuff in Nile is so stale and uncreative

Yes on Nile he's extremely fast, but 12 albums of extreme grind gets old. Hopefully Sir Kollias does more stuff like this.

yes that is because Nile has a certain sound and style , the drums would not fit correctly if they were changed a lot. I really dig Nile. it's intense!!!!... I'd imagine george can play big band style and jazz a bit too when he wants. the guy is pretty good.

i need like one drum lesson with george kollias... or two mabe... i just wanna learn from a pro like him the tricks he might have or setup and tuning drums.. posture all that good stuff... how to setup pedals.. i mean i know how to do it already i'd just like to see how he does all that stuff. seat height has been a thing for me lately i keep trying out different seat and snare heights and hi hats same.
