this is the first time I've seen this, and I can say there was nothing accidental about the songs george chose to play that day.He was saying his last goodbye, all things must pass away.

Whenever someone asks me to play something I do exactly that. I even make a joke about not knowing any songs. It's so incredible to see George Harrison making the same joke. George Harrison who was in The Beatles. Wow. Incredibly inspriring

"All things must pass -- so I must be on my way" -- this video actually hurt me it is so beautiful. His children's children for generations will bless this man. Such a modest man with a giant talent. He was a beacon of light to the world and lived many lives in this one life. He was a Pisces, at the end of the circle of learning and ready to join God again. When the DJ asked George how he got Dylan out of seclusion to play the Bangladesh Concert he never said that Dylan was his friend, he never said that he and Dylan were soul mates, just modestly said "I asked him to play". The truth was that Dylan loved George and did not want to let him down when he needed him and he overcame his fears for George. No one else in the world could have done that with Dylan. George covering Dylan by not saying. George also covered his friend Eric Clapton when he said that Eric was in a bad way "from drinking or something". The truth was Eric was strung out on heroin and trying to put it down during the time of the concert, trying to kick that monkey off your back is hard with bad body shaking. Eric probably took a little heroin before the concert to calm his body so he could be there and play without his hands shaking. Eric Clapton also loved George and didn't want to let him down when George needed him. George was blessed with friends who truly loved him for a lifetime. He took his friends as they were and was a rock in a storm to them, just as Ravi was his rock in a storm. If you get a chance, watch the KZread video of Bob Dylan accepting his nomination into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. You will see Dylan looking to George to cover him and help him when it came time to play his songs in front of that audience. George even sang with Dylan to help him and they both continue to try to find each other in that crowd. You can see George peeking over the crowd from the back of the stage to make sure Dylan was still okay at the mic in front. You can also clearly see that George Harrison adored Bob Dylan. If you didn't know it was happening you might miss the whole thing.

When I was 14 years old, and the Beatles hit the scene, all my girlfriends were crazy for Paul, but I knew immediately that my heart went to George! I didn't consciously know why then, but in my twenties, I began on my spiritual path, of which I continue to do today. George's music inspires me, and I've learned to play his songs on keyboard and sing them.

*smile* George doing the simple run of strings (not a techinal term, but I am NOT a musician) before beginning to play, I was imagining George flipping through all the music files in his head. If you are a George Harrison fan, then you know he once said he wrote his songs simply by keeping them in his head and by transcribing (or paying a transcriber) the actual melody. now...THANKS for sharing this series of vids.

Always great to hear George speak off the cuff. He gained a lot of wisdom which we all could benefit from by listening instead of yapping about wanting him to play. I remembered buying the All Things Must Pass album set when it first came out and dug it out a few months ago with my son and there was the poster still in there. Without tape or thumbtack holes. Thinking about having it professionally framed.
