Hi Marc , It’s a great set which could have definitely been fantastic if they’d included the other promos and missing tracks. I sometimes wonder if these record companies do it on purpose to make us shell out again & again ! Not too bad , hope yours was restful ! Thanks for watching!

Hi G, Definitely , although it could have been even better and complete with another half dozen tracks and a few more promo videos on the dvd, but still a great effort! Definitely love Cloud 9 , one of his best! Not too bad at the moment, hope you & P are good! Stay well!

George's work is phenomenal. My favourite album from the Dark Horse label is Cloud Nine. Awesome box set!

Hi Dave! Great video as always! As a small artist myself it was really interesting to see how they made this box set and all the little details. Also a great box set in general too featuring some Amazing songs! Again sorry for the lateness of my comment but it’s hear now haha 😂

Hi Dave Hope you're having a good Easter. 🐣 Good boxset of George's Dark Horse albums. Didn't know they used an alternative cover for Somewhere In England originally. I had the single All Those Years Ago, George's tribute to John. Disappointing results in the football for both Arsenal & Pompey. Points lost and hope Arsenal don't lose out to City for the title. It definitely looks like another season in League 1 for Pompey. Take care and see you on the next one 🙂

Hi Sarah, Yes hope your Easter has been good too! The original Somewhere in England was refused by warner as there was no hit single on it until obviously the Death of John Lennon inspiring him to write All those years ago which also included contributions from Ringo and Paul. Ahh yes the football , little bit of a setback for the Gunners but I think they’ll do it. Stability for Pompey I reckon Have a great week!

The packaging presentation of this set and the Apple Years box is excellent, although the bonus goodies are too few.

Hi Sailor Sam, Couldn’t agree more. The apple years box has been out of print for quite a while now which is always a shame because of inflated prices. I expect a complete Harrison Cd Set will be on the horizon now George’s recordings are all on in one place! Stay well!

Howdy Beatle Dave. Many moons,my friend.The farm,& we'll just say the' new economy: keeping this dude way too busy. Hope you're well. Tried writing yesterday; but musta' gotten deflected at Iceland,ha. Ya know,one time this ' mountain woman: did tell me that that island nation's got some of Earth's strongest geographic l forces,hmm😢? Anyhow,just wanted give you a shout-out& comment on this Awesome box of Harrison's.creation. Remember the release well,as cousin Mike were down at his #1 music shop,& he saw it just came in. Asked me if I could afford,as he couldn't rite then. Well, musta' had good pay that WK.,cause went down there straightaway & bought it. We've been lovin' it all these years,we have,& woke up with : Cheer Down' in my head . Hmm., probly fr.ur groovy video Dave. Well,reckon back to work now. Bye ,H.jr

It’s a pretty cool set isn’t it , but it could have been so much better with the missing tracks and maybe a bonus disc of 12” versions and a few more promos on the dvd , it’s nice when a record company actually takes the time to go the extra mile! Hey Dave, this is a fantastic boxed set which I've owned since original release. The only disappointing aspect is the omission of the "Blow Away" video plus the others you mentioned. The DVD was also released separately. I only learned from your video today about how the door slides inside like the Apple Years Box. My favourite album is the self titled one. Also a missed opportunity to not include those missing tracks. Cheers mate. 😊

It is a great box set, and interesting to see Steve Ferrone drumming on the Live in Japan album. It is strange that when the Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers documentary was made Running Down A Dream, it was like he was just another drummer brought in when they did the Wildflowers sessions, which does not quite mention the back story. Not mentioned that it is more than likely that Steve Ferrone was brought in on personal recommendation from George Harrison, having performed not only in Japan, but also performed with him at the Natural Law Party concert in April 1992 at The Royal Albert Hall, and performed alongside the co-captain of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Mike Campbell, and after 1994-95 Steve Ferrone joined Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers full-time, staying there right until the very end of that band.

@@beatledavesbeatleschannel I would take it that you still have the ticket from that night in April 1992, plus of there was a programme from that show. Then maybe that would be a video in its own right with other tickets from solo shows with other memorabilia that you have when you went to see all shows that you went to see.

Hi David, Yes indeed , my then girlfriend got her uncle to get the tickets for us aa we didn’t have a credit card , so I have the ticket and al the purchasing information too. Certainly didn’t see a program on the night as it was a very quickly organised event but may have been a Natural Law Party booklet or something. Yes that’s a good idea to think about! Stay well

I believe the terrific artwork for the Gone Troppo was done by George's old mate Legs Larry Smith of the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band.

The Harrison Estate has been very skimpy in releasing out takes and odd tracks, and as the bootlegs have shown, there's a large volume of tracks out there. Who knows what they have in the vaults? I think they should have also included the original Somewhere In England, which i think is a much better album than the released version, or at least included the 4 deleted tracks from it. A very nice set but could have been so much better. Thanks for another fine video, Dave.

Hi David, Yes agree, I think we’ve only had very little in the form of what is probably available. I’ve got the original Somewhere in England bootleg and it’s fabulous, even the artwork so I don’t know why they turned it down at the time. If they let the fans help with these releases you’d get many more satisfied customers! Glad you enjoyed, stay well!

@@beatledavesbeatleschannel Warner Brothers turned down the original Somewhere In England as they apparently didn’t hear “the big hit single”. I’d love to hear the complete version of the album, with the released album and the four pulled songs.

Excellent box set! What we really need however is a complete box set of everything George recorded, all the way back to Wonderwall Music, as well as any unfinished demos & any other previously unreleased material. What do you think Dave?

Hi mate!!! Ok I do have a question to you. So, what was your first solo Beatles Album that you got?.!! This is a good box set not the best lol but not to bad. I do think that there are much better DVD George H boot box sets. And as you were saying it is missing some songs as well. But it is a good one to have to ad it to any George collection!!! A nice set except Lay His Head is not included with Cloud 9 ans it would be nice to have the 12 inch versions of Got My Mind Set On You and When We Was Fab would have been nice.
