I have every versions of ATMP going back to the original vinyl release as well as all sorts of previous bootlegged unreleased tracks from the ATMP sessions. I will never give George anything but a double thumbs up, but I do have to say that this remixed outtake sounds off to me. To my ears, this mix of the instrumental backing music sounds way too fresh and bright compared to the vocals. Hey, this is not a criticism, but an observation. If I'm wrong, please tell me. In any event, I will be buying the complete super deluxe of ATMP as soon as its released.

This sounds like a heartbroken love song rather than a diss track. Some parts of it make the guitar sounds like its wailing. This is not a song you write for someone you hate. This is a song you wrote for someone who you loved very much and hurts you terribly.

I'm convinced it's for Paul. It sounds like a McCartney melody. The song ,off the same album, "I Dig Love" is a parody aimed at John. The way George reverses the lyric and sings, "I love dig" is an obvious Lennon trait.

@@alcarusojr3040 I actually think George was very self-critical and had a hard time seeing his own genius- the whole album was just a loose collection of songs he didn’t want to record with the Beatles until Phil Spector went over to his house and told him what a masterpiece he had on his hands, and that My Sweet Lord was easily a #1 single. Wouldn’t surprise me if that murderer also told George how it would sound best with minimal pushback. Also, George gave his approval for Let It Be Naked before he died, which was an effort to strip away Spector’s over-production of that album- not a huge leap to imagine he’d be happy with this song/album getting a similar treatment

Such a profound seeker of The Truth ahead of each of us. Sometimes I think that George Harrison had a vision that the other three Beatles could not comprehend, nor experience. George Harrison has an incredible, brilliant spirit! He is not dead although his corpse is corrupt. However George's message, his way of living, and his spirit will live for eternity! George Harrison is Enlightened! He is in Paradise: the place that he sought so fervently. George walked the talk that he talk, and changed my life forever. Praise God! Hare Krishna! Alleluia! One God for all!

The GREAT George Harrison has for many, many decades now informed, illuminated and nourished my life. Was astonished that a week before the Concert for Bangladesh -- and for which I had tickets -- he (with Neil Aspinwall) and I (and a friend) were in an ice-cream shop, of all things, down in Greenwich Village. I was frozen with happiness with GH being there. George and Neil were soon on their way out, and as they left George leant down to me at my table and said "Keep Smiling!". I was 22 at the time -- and now MUCH older -- but his brief salutation then has guided my life. Could one give any greater recognition to this incredibly talented composer/performer? I think, not.
A buried gem brought to light... The art of patience will provide more joyous listening experiences. 🌻🕉🌲🍄🎸🌲
