Any politician that goes in big brother is… questionable at best. I think he’s very self serving and despite it being a good thing that we get a full ceasefire and stop the killing of Palestinian civilians- it’s difficult not to wonder how much he will do for Rochdale. As for the other persons comment, democratic socialism is really very different to all out communism.

True and it's a very impressive speech against an evil and illegal war. However his politics go beyond human rights causes. He until the war had a program on Russia Today, the Russian propaganda network and from my base knowledge of international relations and I am in no way as intelligent as George Galloway, he regularly said things related to the Putin government that he knew were lies.

@Fidd88 I fully agree with you, and might add that apart from the oratory skills of Galloway, he had the courage (to put it politely), to travel and stand before a very hostile crowd, at a time where no one would have dared to utter a single word against the US administration (this was the time of You either are with us Or against us). I watched another video, equally impressive, of Galloway's speech at the Oxford Union (the title of the video is: Are you a racist?)..... Impressive skills he has..

There's a region in southwestern Scotland called Galloway, where the surname is from. It's just to the east of Ireland. In Ireland you also have the city of Galway. They both trace to gaelic language, the Scottish word meaning for eign gaels to reference the norse gaelic speakers of the 9th century, and the irish gaelic seemingly referencing a stony river or ford, the river corrib@@ananias-

George Galloway is a true inspiration for all of us who grew up in working-class families. His journey, without a university education, shows that success is achievable through hard work, determination, and a commitment to making a difference. Many of us face challenges, juggling work and student loans, and Galloway's story resonates because he understands that not everyone has the privilege of a free education. His unwavering commitment to fighting for the working man, even after achieving success, sets him apart. Galloway is not someone who pulls up the ladder behind him; instead, he continues to be a voice for those who may not have the same opportunities. Whether we learn from books or lectures, work while studying, or come from humble backgrounds, Galloway's journey encourages us to believe in ourselves and strive for positive change. He's a stand-up guy who embodies the spirit of resilience and advocacy for the working class.

It’s difficult to put into context the magnitude of what George did at that hearing. The global context with the War on Terror in full swing, Bush declaring that “you’re either with us or against us”, the ‘Axis of Evil’ speech, at a time when feelings about 9/11 were still very much raw, to speak to the most powerful nation which was actively engaged in combat in both Afghanistan 🇦🇫 and Iraq 🇮🇶 in such a manner, where many would have cowed to such pressure, is beyond remarkable.

Galloway pulled off one of the best come backs in history. He made two senators look like school boys. He alerted the world to what they did in Iraq and exposed them all. This was just as good as watching Galloway destroy Hitchens in a debate in New York when at the end of the debate Galloway had the audience booing Hitchens down and Hitchens was sweating and stammering and attacking his audience in total loss of the debate. Galloway will be respected across the pages of history for what he did to the bush gang and his lacky Norm Coleman and senator levin.

i had just come to the USA from Bangladesh. I was a graduate student. I watched this late night, without much context, but I was blown away by the quality of debates in US congress. Or so I thought. Keep in mind, Bangladesh, at that time, was going from one US sponsored military dictator to another, while US kept thumping about 'democracy'. Well... I quickly learned about Galloway. Meanwhile, Bangladesh has learned how to defeat the CIA (our prime minister gutted the US-paid military, like Turkey did). So we no longer have the military killing elected leaders. Pakistan, Egypt still have US paid militaries which routinely kill/arrest democratically elected leaders. Back to the point, I was full of respect for Galloway from that day on. It is refreshing to hear the truth (no he does not hate Jews, he simply disagrees with the establishment of Israel). I wish Galloway would become the PM of UK, but that is not going to happen. US/UK both have organized politicians to sustain their criminal ways. But, Galloway will sway some minds, and educate some youngsters into understanding what debate and truth means.

Thanks for that info. Now this: In June 2021, Senator Chuck Grassley introduced a Bill to amend the "Foreign Agent Registration Act" established in 1938. Grassley's Bill to amend this act is entitled "The Foreign Agents Disclosure and Registration Enhancement Act (2021)." Apparently, the 1938 law does not have enforcement provision to enforce the intentions of the law and it's requirements. The mechanisms to enforce violations of the original act were never created. This means, since 1938 foreign lobby agents have been lobbying Republican and Democrat parties without transparency. Grassley's new Bill makes Foreign Agents register with the Department of Justice. Thereby making Foreign Agent lobbying transparent and accountable. Please help spread this news. Our national security and sovereignty are compromised. Senator Grassley's Bill must become law. Thank you.

American senators underestimated Galloway's power of communication. They wished they had never given him the platform. He defeated them single handedly one by one.
