Ali had a chemical put in his eyes that virtually blinded him the night he won the title. Was his trainer in on it, or was it on Sonny Liston's gloves? Doesn't matter, he danced a round until the washing off his eyes allowed vision to return. The old days sweet science was more about mob money than we prefer to remember.

George loves to joke about things but there is a real reason why he named all of his son's George. Big George not told until he was a teenager that his real biolobical dad's last name was Foreman. He thought his step dad was his real father and after he learned that his biological dad's name was Foreman, he swore that if he ever had children, he will always ensure that they have a name they can be proud of. In Ali’s book “The Greatest”, Ali admitted that a few times while he was against the ropes, Foreman shook him with those strong shots. He also said that he felt Foreman had him out on his feet, but he knew how to recover. And as history showed, Ali’s rope a dope got to Big George .

George is one of the most powerful men to ever lace on a pair of boxing gloves. I doubt that there is or has been a boxer who could hit harder. His grill is also an essential part of my kitchen. @@tablighibayans lol. You got it in reverse. "Ali called me at home in California. He said I hear you want a rematch and that’s fine, but you must re-hire Dick Sadler as trainer. I said that Sadler would never work my corner again and Ali responded, angrily, by saying there would be no rematch.” -george foreman ali was the one who refused a rematch. It was known at that time that ali avoided the fight and ali knew he wasnt gonna last toe to toe with foreman again. Also your timeline is way off. When ali and foreman talked about a rematch it was before foreman's fight with ron lyle and not after defeating frazier. In the end ali refused the rematch.

@gangstar riIey2 I can't see any ducking. You are a just typical Ali hater. Foreman again lost to Jimmy Young and retired. He couldn’t handle Young so how could he handle Ali (both has the same fighting technique). It would be a total embarrassment for him if he had lost to Ali in a rematch. That’s why he retired. You can say same about Forman. He also didn’t give Moore the second chance. In my opinion Fraizer was 100 time better than Foremen in the case of handling Ali. Foreman couldn’t land a single clean hit on Ali's face. It was a total disgrace. Watch the fight carefully.
