I had never heard about this story. My daughter was in for Christmas...and I am so happy our lil town offered The Boys in the Boat movie. Lovely interview and the Movie... Beautiful! My parents were raised in the depression. The movie brought back memories of what was shared with me, the visuals I had in my mind and the unspoken words of loss... reminded me of my father's childhood, mother's also. The Boys in the Boat ... a MUST SEE! A Movie for Senior Citizens, Collage Students, High School History Students. Now that I know about this story, I will read the book! Perhaps see the movie again... says this non-movie goer. 🎥🎄🙏♥
