1:32 [preamble] Not having an emotional stake in wether this experiment with human beings works. I really don't care. I love people, as I meet them one by one. People are just wonderful as individuals, you see the whole universe in their eyes if you look carefully, but as soon as they begin to group, as soon as they begin to clot, when there are five of them, or ten, or groups as small as two they begin to change. They sacrifice the beauty of the individual for the sake of the group. I decided it was all under the control of groups now, wether it's business, religion, political people or what. And I would distance myself from wishing for a good outcome. Let it do what it's going to do and I'll enjoy it as an entertainment. George Carlin's American Dream [part 2 | about 1:09]

It's interesting that Charlie finished his interview with Carlin addressing OJ Simpson after Carlin initially spoke of not addressing Simpson or politicians for comedic purposes.
The best there ever was and ever will be! Not just a comedian but a comedian that can make reality into comedy. R.I.P To a true Legend!
Rest In Peace, King. Thanks for everything
I got him #1 stand up comedian of all time! Carlin, pryor, ck and chappelle 4 me 🙂

This is ridiculous! A few Q & A back and forth and George Carlin's gone! Does Mr Clooney really have to tell us 3 or 4 times as much as George Carlin?

👏👏Loved George and always agree with him 100% and more. Wish I had gotten the cgance to have met him. It's not often that I have come across truly like minded humans!
A brilliant interview with a great artist.
Thank you for the upload 👍👍
You are loved and missed Carlin. You'd be having a lot of fun right now.
Carlin was absolutely brilliant.
Ah, George...you can be my shaman everyday of my life!! You open my mind and help me really think about things. I will love and honor you forever.
GRACIAS AMIGO POR SUBIR SUCH VALUABLE PIECE

He's so intelligent and well-spoken
George Carlin reminded me if someone who was also a comedic genius Danny Kaye what a master.

Charlie Rose is great miss his show and Carlin is straight to the point. Exceptionally impressive

Heath Ledger would have been an amazing Carlin in a biopic. Now, I can see Bryan Cranston nailing the role, but he’d need to be digitally de-aged at certain points. Ledger bore more of a resemblance.

George Carlin's American Dream [part 2 | about 1:09]
I love George. And you'll never know which George I'm referring to.
The man! Kids from around the world take note!

Holy shit. George Carlin shouted out Spike Jonze pre "Her". Yeah he had a lot of success with music videos, but he was arguably still deeply involved with Girl/Chocolate. So in a roundabout way, Carlin shouted out the skateboard culture in the mid-90s the golden era of skating no less. This probably means nothing to anyone else but me, but I had to point it out. Since it's KZread and any dumbass like myself can say whatever they want. Matter how geeky it is.

perverse about my commentary 4:52 values 5:16 doomsayer 5:20 want you to feel a little in danger 5:50 have to be somewhat of an egotist to 6:07 that isn't like all the others 6:38 I have 35 years of notes , 6:53 work goes on subconsciously if you're thoroughly familiar with your raw material a lot of the synthesis goes on without you even knowing it 7:12 revise it about 20 times 7:40 the art form can be altered according to their appreciation of it 8:55 do it for free 9:09 oral traditionalists, forerunners 9:17 then monologist, filtered, 7 8 9 10 11 , red skeleton 10:50 Jones 11:02 out of it making chaos out of order and then order out of chaos 12:06 feeling of power 12:33 transverse, triptych 12:42 suggested if he says it in marvelous language, if there's an underlying idea, underneath 13:27 broaden the vision broaden the horizon and just see more and say more 13:55 you can't get too far ahead of yourself 14:14 do my mother on stage, Micheal 15:28 15:28 years so that the audience was bigger and bigger and it gave me a presence in the national mind if you will I don't mean to be too grand about this

So many accolades here. Tell you what. Take this wisdom and apply it. Let those of us who agree so strongly with George Carlin call ourselves “Carlinists”. Let’s also agree that we NEVER congregate.

He clearly states his position is, the people deserve what they get and get what they deserve. Also that he was not routing for a particular outcome, just entertainment. I think he would find as much material in the over-reaction to Trump as he would find in Trump.
There’s a daylily named after George Carlin! 💕
For all of those saying they wished Carlin was here today, I say you should be thankful that he isnt, can you imagine how much the censorship and politically correct lingo would have hindered his career, he probably would be facing life in jail if he was a modern day comedian.
