Good stuff, but a planned narration using a written and rehearsed script would be far better than the mood music to tell your story (and more effective too) so, can you show us some of the other nifty mods you have up your sleeve. I have a G19QB and thinking of selling and going to a 15TB or 14FK? as I travel solo a lot and they would be easier to tow with a mid-size SUV; I have a Q5 TDI that I’ve used but bought a RAM EcoDiesel, it’s great but won’t fit in the garage so will sell it and simplify the equation. I really like the diesels (fuel economy) especially the TDI it’s strong and pulls effortlessly, but not right for off road boon-docking if it was a Touareg TDI it would be a near perfect solution - more room, heavier and excellent ride quality on its longer wheel base. This is awesome! Thank you for the idea. Can you post the links for the cushions and mattress topper? Also, do you have two sheets on the topper...one on the top and one on the bottom?

Full mattress topper/cover:www.amazon.com/gp/product/B099DCNDYF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s03?ie=UTF8&th=1. Dimension for two cushion inserts: 21x28 and 21x25. We found some faux leather that closely matches cushions but I'm sure you can use any material to cover foam. We cut mattress foam in half so that it could be folded. You may not need to do this but we took two sheets and sewed them together to make sleeves to insert the two cushion halves inside. Just make sure to have about 2" space in the middle so foam will fold on top of each other. We then placed the 'sleeved' foam inside the gray mattress topper to keep it together as 'full bed'. To keep the whole thing together we sewed a couple pieces of wide elastic tying together the two sides of the gray topper. We have a regular full size sheet set that we use on the bed. The fitted sheet goes on gray topper like normal then the top sheet gets folded and placed under pillows when not in use. This way the gray mattress topper stays clean.

I’m looking at purchasing this model trailer. I’m a solo traveler and wondering if the back area would be wide enough for one person. Sort of the space your folded topper takes up. I can’t find one anywhere near. E to go measure it.

You can make the width as wide as you like for comfort. For one person I would suggest you remove the back area seatback cushions and make the full time bed that size. That would also give you more head and foot space. You see that we have a board piece that is pulled out for bottom support. In your case you would just have a shorter piece. We used the table that comes with the unit and cut to length for a full size mattress. You may want to make it the width of a single bed mattress so you can use standard sheets if that matters to you. And you can use a standard single topper just for looks. If you leave the back cushions in place the length available is same as a full mattress length. Good luck. We spent 2 months living in it while traveling around Florida last winter so there is plenty of room and storage.
