This video demonstrates how to use Properties of Vertical Angles, Corresponding Angles, Interior Angles of a Triangle, and Supplementary Angles to find all the angles in a diagram. Other Properties discussed include Alternate Interior Angles, Alternate Exterior Angles, Complementary Angles, and the Exterior and Opposite Interior Angles of a triangle. The diagram that is analyzed includes two parallel lines crossed by two transversals.

    Roxanne Geldart MGF1106 TR 2pm "Corresponding angles, they are on the same side of the traversal L3, and they're both on top of the parallel lines. This means that angel 6 is equal to the sum of angles 1 and 2. Angle 6 is 114 degrees and angel 2 is 57 degrees. So subtract these two values to find angle 1. "

    Melissa Caso MGF1106 W 9:30 My takeaway from this video is there are different types of relationships we have to remember such as complementary which sums up to 90 degrees and Interior angles of a Triangle which always sum up to 180 degrees. You make this much more easier to understand and this takes a lot of stress out of math for me. Thank you!

Identifying each vertical angle first and if an angle is opposite of one another they are equal ; Each angle has to add up to 180 degrees in an triangle and each supplemental angle add up to 180 degrees...     Jaimee Armesto MGF 1106 Something I learned from this video was the difference between alternate exterior angles and alternate interior angles. Exterior angles are outside of the parallel lines, while interior interior angles are inside of the parallel lines.
