In this video, I explain the terminology "curve" and how it is used to describe anything you can draw on a piece of paper. Then I explain how curves can have certain characteristics such as being simple, closed, or convex. When a curve is simple and closed and made up of only straight line segments, it is also called a polygon. Regular polygons are polygons with the characteristic that all sides are the same length and all interior angles are the same measure. Regular polygons are always convex.
