It was an interesting Video I belong to a Tibeto- Burmese ethnic tribe from India Arunachal Pradesh🇮🇳. And Many students from Burma came to our state (Arunachal Pradesh) for education purposes and for a better life. Because of recent Army rule.

my mom took me on trips to myanmar multiple times when i was little, since she helps a Buddhistic school there, and i absolutely love the country and the people. i definitely recommend myanmar!!

This remind me of myself as a kid. My teacher asked students to draw flag of favorite country and I chose Myanmar because It's easy and look beautiful and that's what make me started to interested in this country til now. And fact of what's happening in Myanmar really broke my heart. Wish to visit there one day. Pray for Myanmar 🙏🇲🇲

This was hole series i amazing in many ways , because it teaches you how big, diverse and interesting is our big wide world , butl also that keeping live knowledge of ones roots is very important. Its also again shows us how bloody the histort is but people are very resilient and adaptable and built from the ashes as long as they can form a caring community with shared perspectives for the future. My grandmother is from Myanmar, learnt quite a bit from this video.

Myanmar has so many historical stories that once u heard about it, u can't help but want to know more.... I feel very ashamed to call myself a burmese rn... I thought I know a lot about my own country but this video makes me feel like a lost kid who lost her candy or smth lol

Yeah

The language is definitely Tibeto-Burman. It's most similar to some languages in Yunnan, as that's where the Bamar originally came from. I learnt about this in "River of Lost Footsteps" that I read whilst travelling through Myanmar.
