I wholeheartedly agree! Amazing ear and ability to analyze even the backgrounds. I haven't checked out Peter Barber, but I will, and you are on point about Elizabeth Zharoff - excellent as well. Additionally, I recommend Lolly - The Fairy Voice Mother who is just as good at analysis, and has a great ability to demonstrate lots of different techniques as well. Collaboration? Hmm?

Geoff's higher range has really developed wonderfully. I guess I am a bit jaded with his low notes now, but his high notes thrill me. I love the way he and his wife have such a great partnership and put out quality content. Great reaction again Jen :)

This was sooo good. I loved all the easter eggs in it as well. The numbers on their shirts are not random. If you look at the numbers on the phone the spell out the Geoff clones name. Also, near the end there are 3 more Geoffs on the second floor. The book Jeff is reading is Johnny Cash's autobiography. Just so much to see. Great reaction!!

Yay, so glad your back and that you had a nice little break! Loved your reaction for this. Yes Geoff was playing the Harmonica. He had to learn to play when he worked at Universal Studios for a show. It was definitely fun with him adding 3 more Geoff’s in the background. 😊

I would feel like a genius pointing this out if it hadn't been pointed out to me as well, but in the intro, the Geoff's are singing the same notes being played on the guitar strums. They're even doing the arpeggio you would get from a slow down-strum 🤯🤯🤯 unbelievable talent and creativity on display in this arrangement

A perfect song for his voice. I"ve been waiting for this one. VoicePlay's latest release is perfect for them too. I just love to watch VP play! In fact, they just don't pick, or sing, bad songs.

By the way, there's a little bit of an easter egg. If you look at the numbers on the uniforms, they spell out which Geoff-clone it is (using the letters next to the numbers on your phone). So I believe that's Geoff, Jeff, Jeoph, and Daryl up front. We can assume Goff is up top, along with two heretofore unknown Geoff-clones.

Awesome reaction as always Jen. Geoff learned to play the harmonica in 2014 when he played Elwood Blues a few times. The numbers on his shirts match the numbers on the phone keypad and spell out their names.... Jeff, Geoff, Daryl and Jeoph. The book he was reading is Johnny Cash's autobiography. The glasses are the ones he wears to read and do his arrangements at home. I'm guessing the clapping Geoff is Goff. And the other two are newbies.

Always love your reactions to Geoff. And you didn't even TRY that last note, eh? I think my favorite thing is that, unlike I See Fire, every Geoff got those low note solos and the high ones, except for maybe Daryl (sleeveless Geoff).

Joyrider? Okay, I have a history with the song Joyrider by the band Roxette. It was just about the only tape, or one of the two or three cassette tapes that my mom owned when my brother and I were growing up back in the 1980's, so I'd listen to that tape being played on repeat in our old Dodge Aspen, with it's rust eaten floorboards. The song Joyride brings up so many amazing childhood memories. To me, that song is the very meaning of nostalgia.

The aspirate onset is more than just a southern/western American affectation! it is a powerful way to make english singing gain 'volume' (breadth [stretch the words without adding syllables]) and make the words dance without forcing you to hit each octave accurately. You can smoothly, sweetly, dance up and down those scales while pronouncing the vowel sounds. I love the American accent! If anyone has a Queens English accent version of that level of smoothe variation, please provide! im still looking.

On a different subject, many would love to hear your analysis of Oliver Anthony's "Richmen North of Richmond. A classic Scots-Irish (albeit in America) song full of self-reliance, sorrow, and resentment.

Hi Jen! Just FYI - Videoed at Indian River Correctional Institution in Vero Beach Fl., the Prison closed in 2012 and is not active. It was bought by some people that plan eventually to turn it into an algae farm, until then they rent it out. There was no AC (90 degrees inside!) so he and Kathy had to take frequent AC breaks in the car! 😁

All of the low notes in this video are all chest. Including the F#1. This is his lowest chest note and he’s hitting it consistently. And this man calls himself a baritone…

​@@Mike_1947He is at least a contrabass/deep bass. Considering the average limit of a bass is a D2, C2 is considered extended range, so this man is definitely a low bass.

Am not a big country fan but it is hard not to like Geoff's versions! There are some stunning lows in Voiceplay's latest release that are just nuts. He and they never disappoint.

After watching Geoff’s tutorial, I wandered around my house trying for several weeks, probably scaring the neighbors. One day, all of a sudden, it happened and I startled myself just like Jen. And I have not managed it since😡.

The part where he falls was not scripted; the venue gave them flimsy plastic chairs instead of the sturdy chairs they requested, and Geoff, ever the consummate performer, carried on even after it collapsed. Paul, the brunette baritone in Toxic Audio, filled in for Tony at least once. There's audience footage of VP doing the Chicken Song with Paul, and he grumbles "They didn't pay me enough for this." Geoff does the beatboxing and bassline in VP's Death of A Bachelor so it's just Geoff and Earl performing all the parts.

I mean, she does warn you right up front that that's what these videos are like. If you want to just see someone making gobsmacked faces along to the music, there are TONS of other reactors that do that. Why don't you go watch one of them, instead of complaining that you're getting exactly what you were told you'd get?
