Hey guys, I own one of these baby bike in France, using for trip work and sometimes wandering around my place about 100 miles away ... great small bike, fun and safe enough ( neeed to change genuine tires though) nothing to say bad after 2 years. My opinion the driving position (a classic one = classic bike) is not made for tall persons after 20/30miles it gets umconfortable as well as too much vibrations sizzling in your butt ! But on the overall, many of the bad comments I have read about it (bad brakes, schoks, oil spills, rust, longevity... ) doesn't seems to be true, if you pay care of this unexpensive and economic joy-machine ! Have a safe trip !

The fact that the valves can be adjusted by the user in a huge thing for me. That saves a lot of money , taking to a dealer is a pain. Looking seriously at this. Have a kYmco 2012 Like 200i right now.

I visited your shop last week and chatted with you for a while. It's still at the top of my list! Love what I see.

I am first owner of a Mash TT40 cafe racer. Same here with finding neutral. First 350 miles i couldn't get in neutral with engine on. Few twists tighter on the cable and now it shifts just as nice as my old cb400f and neutral is not a problem any more. Greetings from the Dutch TT town Assen.

I have a 1976 CB400F which I've owned since 1979, I sincerely hope that a modern bike shifts better than that. The 400F gearbox is full of false neutrals.

I'd love to come and visit your town one day for the TT, after going to the IOM TT, it definitely won't be my last!

I own one here in California it’s just a unique ride with good low end torque, super comfortable, good throaty sound. I have no problem easily finding neutral The bike is very happy under 68 miles an hour

It's a very comfortable bike to ride. Just make sure that all the bolts are tight. My side plate fell off in one ride. Just minor scratches though no dents

This bike is not a Honda CB400 "clone" It is a Honda CB400 with the Honda branding removed. The same molds...the same machinery built it that used to build CB400's for Honda.

Loved Your Part 1 & 2. I’m at 400 miles towards the 500 mile break-in (just like all the ‘old’ bikes of my youth). But you’re killing me. I’m so careful to keep it below 6000 RPM as stated in the guide for the break-in and you don’t seem to do that at all! What gives?

Need an honest opinion of sustained higher cruising speeds. My commute (50 miles one way) includes an extended (30 minutes) 65mph four-lane "highway", and one 10-minute burst on a 75mph tollway. Would this bike be over-stressed or out of character to handle that on a daily basis? Looking for simple/minimalistic that can handle the cruise speed. Hoping this could make it.

I would find something with a bit more weight and hp. Like a 650

Same price as a RE Meteor 350?

I'm looking at lighter bikes to replace my 472 pound bike that's getting hard for this old man to handle. This bike is at the top of my list. The Genuine website doesn't mention price or weight. All I know is it looks nice & I like thumpers. Had a 400cc & 650cc single years ago.

MSRP is $3999 - Give your local Genuine Dealer a shout. Weight is 353lbs (gotta be empty) which is crazy lightweight for a 400 w/twin exhausts

How are the vibrations on this bike at normal speeds?

It's a single, so it's not vibration free - but it's pretty smooth.

220 each? or 220 total? I don't know if it would constitute unusual wear and tear, but the bike is plenty strong.

Had you said 220 lb I'd belieive you. But 353 is about 160 kg which is not something you want to put on that bike. This guy from Clev.. Moto certainly does not weigh that much, or this review would be very different. The reason I ask about these things is because I am genuinly interested in the bike, height and weight of rider matters. I was considering buying this bike, but first I need to be able to identify with the person who is reviewing it so that I can make the correct judgement before the buy it. I myself weigh slightly over a 100 kg which makes me a bit heavy. Now, I asked the question 6 months ago and I still haven't got a reply from CM, which today sadly won't make a difference as I've already bought a Kawasaki KLX230 a couple of months ago, which I am very content with. I am not sure wether these videos are ment to sell bikes, or just show that CM has them in stock, or what? Because I was sold, but didn't get that final info, so I bought another bike here locally in the end. Never mind.

I like this motorcycle its the knock off Yamaha sr400. Im so going to buy one, i also love dualsport bikes

Crowman Caveman nah, it’s based on a Asia market Honda 400 that Shineray built under license. SR 400 is kickstart only, btw. This has electric too.

Exciting extra challages to find neutral ha ha ha i like it😂😂
