Untuk yg pertama kali dtg mungkin rasa wow it’s amazing.. but untuk yg selalu ke sini dn pernah merasa pengalaman di old theme park (indoor n outdoor),..pasti teringat kemeriahan dan keseronokan theme park yg dulu….rindu dan skrg ia cuma jadi satu kenangan. 🫢😃😃

I took the coach from KL Sentral to Awana Skyway and took the cable car up to the top. It was very good experience.

I felt like I have done all the rides already after watching this !!

majority of the rides just involve spinning 360 degree up and down, left and right to make you dizzy

When i went to Malaysia in 2018 they were building the park I remember i saw ice age coster and I read a sign about night at the museam

I went there for the testing period not very good, all the rides were not working but now it looks amazing

I love the old days 30 years ago when there was only a small park. It used to be so cold but not anymore too many buildings spoil the nature.

The Mad Ramp Peak looks exciting too!

I think the old one had more to offer plus it was really pretty too I dont think they needed an upgrade though

I remember when i was five years old and i saw the themepark still being built

It is not that crowded if the date of your visit does not falls on weekends or public holidays in Malaysia.

i like all but rollercoasters (i just don’t want to be dizzy)

Hi Aidil Asry, are you referring to the games at Asteroid Arcade in Central Park of Genting Skyworlds? There are kiosks near the game stations for you to register a card and top up credit to play the games. GeM card are also accepted.

As for the rides in Genting Skyworlds, no further payments required as the Genting Skyworlds admission ticket covers all the rides. Do note a few rides are not in operations during the soft opening period as stated in the Genting Skyworlds website.

Long queue is also another issue during the December school holidays and many people could not try as many rides as they wanted.

If you are going during non-peak period, mostly likely you can cover all rides in one day. However if you are going during school holidays, public holidays or weekends, it will be challenging to cover all the rides in one day.

i covered all the rides yesterday, it is best to have a big breakfast so you can experience all the rides while other people are taking a break during lunch. you would also need to download the app so you get to book multiple rides and skip the queuing line. then again, there weren't many people as i went yesterday.

Sports shoes will be good. When it rains, you can wear raincoat or you can seek shelter in the souvenir shops. It will also be good to pre book the Virtual Queue using the Genting Skyworlds apps.

Hello! There is no express ticket but there is a Virtual Queue (VQ) system to book the timing slots for your rides.

@@razan8524 it is amazing but you must make sure you do not wear short pants, it is too cold and also be careful when driving because it can be real foggy at random times, bring your jacket incase you feel cold, also if you’re visiting skytropolis don’t let any little kids go on it if they are too short, you must check the height checker if they are tall enough because if they are too short they will fall down the ride when it goes upside down. Enjoy your visit/stay at Genting, good luck!😉

Been there just 2 weeks ago. Half of the rides arent operasional. The ones that did still have technical problems. And the queue was very long and agonizing. Even a simple ride with no thrill will take up an hour to wait. Very dissapointed wont be coming back anytime soon

There is the Virtual Queue (VQ) system that comes with the tickets that allows ticket holders to book a time slot for some of the rides. There is no express pass ticket.

Rides scheduled for maintenance are stated in the Genting SkyWorlds website. You can also get status of the rides from the Genting SkyWorlds apps too. From what I know, most of the time the rides are working fine.

If suffer backbone is it possible to try the ride?

You only need to purchase the admission ticket. Once inside the Genting Skyworld, you do not need to pay for the rides.

I went to Genting Skyworld twice, a few months apart. On my second trip to Genting Skyworlds, there were announcements at a few rides no photo and video during the ride. However on my first ride, it was fine to take photos and videos.

@@SGYap thanks we were there last weekend and they don't allow to bring things, u must put it in a locker prior going inside. BTW we only rode 1 ride coz most of the rides were under technical difficulties 😔

@@travelanywhere5129 On my first trip to genting skyworlds, they were not strict in terms of taking photos or videos. It was during my second trip they started to inform no video or photo allow on some of the rides. However majority of the safer rides still allowed taking photos and videos.

Independence Day is one of the more popular rides at Genting Skyworlds. Yes agreed, it will be really dramatic if there are heat wave, strong wind and water spray.

There are minimum height restrictions for the rides but I don't think there are weight restrictions.

I went to Genting SkyWorlds 2 times, both visits were a few months apart. During my first visit, they are quite ok and allowed me to film using my chest mounted GoPro. However on my second visit, they started to make announcement on a few rides that filming is not allowed.

Really a boot camp training, i hate climbing stairs

@@ziqkyy for now there still under construction the SFX Coaster will be open in 2024 with unknown theme but Expedition Thin Ice now it's opened tu the public with (technical rehearsal) and planet of the apes also mad ramp peak will be open on later 2022 (coming soon)

They were not so strict on POV filming when the park initially opened but has since tightened the rules. Another way to film POV is to write in to get permission but it will be subject to approval on case by case basics.

At the moment, not all the rides are open. You can download the Genting Skyworlds app to check which rides are open.

There is this Virtual Queue (VQ) Genting Skyworlds where you can reserve the time slots for some of the rides. But do take note there are limited slots in the VQ, hence if you are at Genting Skyworlds during a peak period like school holidays, most likely the VQ slots are taken up quickly. You can see the VQ in the Genting Skyworlds app.

Just gone there last and a lot of rides are still not opened. And even opened, it will suddenly having maintenancr issues. Wasting of time and $$$.

From what I know, the rides required more maintenance compared to rides at theme parks located at sea level due to the cold and wet weather at Genting Highlands. I think it also depends on luck during this soft opening period. Sometimes the rides are down but on some days, the rides were mostly operational.
