An unedited travelogue looking at the celebrations for the anniversary of 150 years of trams in Gent in Belgium. We see modern trams in service, the line up for the parade and tramcars in the parade itself, mainly at Korenmarkt. Then we see the three horse tram carrying passengers and the steam tram, including its loading onto a low loader at the end of the event and being driven away. Then we see a selection of historic trams covering the route between the centre and Sint- Pietersstation. There must have been thousands of people, making this an enjoyable, memorable and nostalgic event
