Yu Peng Chen's musical works never cease to astonish me. I cant wait for them to perform a live of Signora's theme

The Liyue theme made me cry like a baby.. I still remember being stuck at an unfamiliar city during the lunar new year period in 2021, not being able to be home to celebrate with my family due to the pandemic... instead, I was dragging Xiao around Liyue harbour, preparing for the Lantern Rite festival, and that helped me miss home a little less. Thank you Mihoyo!

Same; it's what I did for this year since I couldn't go home. The festival feeling was so special and the Shenhe storyline really touched me. And watching the fireworks with everyone I'd met in Liyue, meeting Ganyu on her way home to see Cloud Retainer (and how the adeptus asks about her crushes lmao) just gave the festival feeling

Me stuck in my bedroom for a whole month of january 2021 due to contracting covid. My office nicely let me rest until the test came out negative with no work at all while still pay me fully (it is not possible to bring the work home, so they kinda just let me, bcs the i catched the virus while commuting home from office). It's like, 1 full month of looking inside my windowless room while once in a while went out to sunbathing and bath and going to hospital for retesting) . Thankfully there was genshin impact so it didnt get so boring.

Wow, Mihoyo didn't hold back on this concert getting a western orchestra, electric guitars, traditional Chinese instruments, an Opera singer and a choir. This concert as short as it is, is lit.

I like the conflict in the music. Even without knowing the story, just by listening the string and flute opposing the trumpets and choir - you know there are two forces fighting. One is raging and resentful, one is hopeful and righteously deviant.

That's where the Liyue theme gives us the homely vibe. It gives you a warm feeling you get when returning home during the holidays season after a long and gruesome year of work to finally visit your family. (Especially relatable if you are a Chinese, but I think we all have that kind of festival regardless of our ethnicity)

i'm tearing up especially at Yun jin's song. I'm just remember Shenhe's tragic story, the way she trying to protect her dear traveler friend and end being hero by saving liyue harbor, fighting alongside her dear friend traveler and becaming parts of human society.. it did hit my heart.. AWESOME CONCERT

the way the cellists had to flip the pages at 7:38… as someone who plays the violin in a string ensemble, i felt this in my soul 💀 it really is nerve wracking when we have to do that during public performances!!! nonetheless, everyone in involved pulled off this concert 💖 can’t wait to receive the anniv concert music box when it arrives in march!! it would be amazing to play the previously released songs in my instruments.

@@TamelaVilla I'm just saying that we could easily make such a device if someone wanted to develop this product, even purely from software* . But I know the professional industry still likes its paper, that's probably why it's not everywhere yet. * A software dev could probably code an MVP of this in a week. With modern mobile devices you can just use the microphone to listen to which notes are being played to keep track of where the musician is currently at in the score. When the music gets to the end of one page it should then flip to the next page. It's definitely possible because we already use microphones on your smartphone to detect pitch for tuning apps lol.

ah, i see and yes it's true, pitch tuning apps are useful but are not entirely accurate. that would be helpful tool though it would take time to perfect considering that for example, even individual violins have distinguishable sound "personalities"

@@TamelaVilla I really don't think it would take more than a week for someone who knows what they're doing. We have machine learning that can already recognize what a human is speaking: look at KZread's automated captions! They just have to apply deep learning models on to some data of music recordings (and that's an easy dataset to procure) and you'll have machines that have a 99.99% success rate at knowing where a song being played is currently at. They don't need to know the precise pitch for it, it's just making an informed guess, but a very good guess. Because fundamentally that's how human brains work too. People can listen to music without having perfect pitch and being able to precisely tune by ear. In fact it should be very fault tolerant, for the same reason people can still recognize songs being played back on a bad speaker.

imagine the people playing these scores having never heard of Genshin before, and thinking, "WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK? THESE PIECES ARE INSANE!" Free To Play By The Way!

That’ll depends, I’m pretty sure these professionals are well-experienced with insane classical pieces already lol but this must be incredibly fun to play and produce. To me it’s almost always a bless to the ears, listening to new pieces that blends western orchestra and traditional instruments so beautifully together.

Seeing a live performance of the Divine Damsel of Devastation and Azhdaha's Battle Theme was an unexpected yet very welcoming surprise! Props to Mihoyo and the performers for another awesome concert! P.S. Good luck to all Yae, Ei, and Kokomi pullers!

Tbh I feel that the live version has reinterpreted the meaning of this song, the version in the game made me feel the complex feelings of Azhdaha towards ZhongLi and years of the resentment, and the live version made me trance to see the young Azhdaha who fought along side with ZhongLi in the archon war. Rage Beneath the Mountain hits you even harder when you remember the friendship between Zhongli and Azhdaha.

Almost fell out of my seat when Azhdaha's boss theme started playing, and it was even more exciting that we got a chance to see the translated English lyrics for it as well. The lyrics are quite sad. With the new announcement of the Chasm coming in Version 2.6, I'm hoping we get a lot more info on Rex Lapis and Azhdaha. But lore obsessions aside, the singer's performance was gorgeous. The music in this game never fails to impress. Beautiful.

Everytime new music comes out for Genshin, it always impresses me so much. theres so much detail and character and story that gets portrayed and conveyed through the music. I absolutely love Yun jin's song, every time I hear it I get CHILLS down my back and goosebumps all across my arms. its so beautiful and even if I cant understand the words, the emotions are still conveyed so well just through the sounds themselves. I just watched an interview with Yun jin' Opera VA, and how she told about how they worked together to still keep specific traditions in the song and the way its sung. And that she was so surprised that the song had gone so viral and that people were so in appreciative of the the traditions and history etc from the Peking Opera. The music and worldbuilding in this game is always top notch and Im so glad I stayed behind after the 2.5 stream to listen to the concert. SO BEAUTIFUL

This concert was too beautiful. And to actually see the Azhdaha lyrics with the subtitles on was something else. Genshin is such a unique game in how it blends cultures, and seeing the marriage of the classical, rock, and traditional Chinese instruments just hypes the performances we can see in the future. Blessings to all these talented musicians.

I think Genshin Impact might have the most beautifully written and definitely the most breathtakingly performed music of any game that I've played in my life.

That one beautiful moment when the Liyue Battle Theme starts playing and everybody just shouts "Dendro Slime!", it's not a battle theme now, it's Dendro Slime Entrance Theme.

The feeling of hearing this music in game is way different hearing and seeing it live. It's just beautiful. Especially Divine Damsel of Devastation. It just tears me up🥲. Well done Mihoyo!!!!

I'm not even kidding but this concert is a compilation of my favorite songs. It's really an awesome surprise. Before the last one all I was thinking was - wow this would've been perfect if my top 1 was in here and lo and behold the liyue song came. I love it! This concert is for me and no one can't change my mind.

How many masterpiece moments can we give to our players? Mihoyo: Yes

When I listen to these performances I feel like it takes me back to a place I've never been but also have. The music is that powerful and integral to the game. Video games are kinda magic because in a way, even though it is not a real place, we have been to Liyue.

It's BEAUTIFUL!!! The Chinese Opera performance really reminds me of my childhood. Am not a Chinese, but my late father loved Chinese Opera so much. And to listen to Chinese Opera again after all these years, really makes me want to go back to my childhood moments. Thank You, MiHoYo ❤️

I was waiting for this one, Genshin Concerts will always have a special place in my heart.

Last Genshin Concert was a masterpiece, hyped to watch this whole concert as well

Got emotional in so many parts of the concert. The genshin impact soundtrack is the gift that keeps on giving. So glad to have journeyed this far into the game. Looking forward to how the story would unfold in the months to come.

This is my third day in a row that I've come here to watch the concert, I just can't get enough 🤧

genshin concerts are always such a treat and delight to watch, the ost of this game is just out of this world

Azdhaha theme was so epic i couldn't believe it wasn't in the last concert and now seeing them perform it makes it twice the epic, thanks mihoyo for this incredible concert

"Devastation and Redemption" Song make me goosebumps. Yang Yang's Voice is so wonderful.

Rage beneath the mountain always give me goosebumps.

Let’s just appreciate how beautiful mihoyo’s music is, and how much work they put in to it!

this has so many amazing moments that I literally cannot just pick one of them. especially the singers!! gosh the divine damsel opera and the chorus in Azhdaha's theme are both just so good. and I love that I can watch them with their lyrics in both chinese/english here!

Another reason of liking genshin... The game not only gives us fun time....also give precious knowledge about culture /tradition of different region/country... Btw I love various types of traditions...mentionable are: (chinese,japanese,korean,)in terms of asian countries... As I'm asian too... It's my pleasure to see how Asian culture represents Asia in unique standard to outter world,I'm proud of it... Lastly my main attraction are also these 3 culture tho all over world🙃

after more than a year, erhu finally appears in a genshin impact concert, the one in charge of the most beautiful and epic melodies of liyue and inazuma. most people sure thought that was a violin, IT IS NOT A VIOLIN ERHU ♥️

This is one of the most beautiful online concerts ever. Liyue's soundtrack is really the most majestic in Genshin Impact. 😍

I got teary eyes by the end of the concert. Divine Damsel of Devastation and that last bit of Liyue's City Soundtrack (and last year's Lantern Rite) really got me. Such Beautiful-Magical Musical pieces. Kudos to everyone performing in this concert, I really really really respect all of you.
