I have been a quiet critic of Ice but I have to recognize her for her very strong play today. She has the potential to be a very important player next year. Go Ice!

The team could have felt sorry for themselves for losing Aliyah, but instead they seemed to look at it as an opportunity to be great. I've been a college basketball fan since the 1960s and this was the most impressive team performance I've ever seen.

Steve, I can't remember any of them right now after witnessing what just happened today. I know the effort on Shade has affected her on the offensive side but watching her run around on defense, staying out of foul trouble had a lot to do with today's effort. Don't get me wrong, EVERYONE WAS SPECTACULAR, Paige, KK and Nika always do their thing but Ashlynn and Ice had to learn to 'bring it' every moment on the court and today they did.

There is no "I" in the word team. Today's win was an amazing TEAM work of art! So graceful in playing and in winning. A class act, individually and together. They are glorious!

Ya gotta luv it! She has fun, smiles a lot, but make no mistake, she takes this game very seriously. She plays the 1,2,3,4 and 5 at one point or another in every game. What a joy it is to watch her play!

Paige was fantastic! Her basketball IQ is off the charts. She can play almost any position. Thank God we have her on our team! The rest of the team stepped up big time. Really proud of these players. The freshman are getting great playing time. Go huskies!

If Geno didn't wind up where he is, or stay there for only a short while, it's fair to say he would have become a basketball analysist and a great one. But, if I had anything to do with Hollywood I would have turned him into a giant movie star. He has the wit of a Jack Nicholson, the charm of a Danny Aiello and a quiet strength of a Paul Newman. But, I like him where he is right now. His teams are so well coached I often find myself enjoying every moment during the game on both ends of the court and I forget to look at the score! Sound crazy? It's like I want them to play well, up to their potential and every once in a while I will look at the score and say, "Wow! They're up by 20!"

Great win for UCONN and hopefully it will carry over to Monday night. I don't understand how Georgetown is not even considered a tournament team after shutting down a high scoring team like Creighton.

Hope Aleeyah can play in the final. The last time she had to wear a mask, she was fierce !! Awesome job all the girls.

    A. Edwards has a broken nose. Biggest challenges with that, besides the obvious pain, are the challenges it presents for breathing and renewed bleeding, which can occur with natural effort and the invevtiable bumps and tumbles even when wearing a mask. I think they'll likely hold her out for the league championship game and hope she's better by the NCAA tournament.

Could you imagine Stewart paige Maya Diana and bird playing together wow of course Lobo and four other of our greats as the second team but wow what a starting five and second 5 Gino can Assemble, who can come up with a 10 I'm sure it would be hard once you got to probably the first eight then the last two would probably be a toss up so many great players have played at UConn, I'm curious to see what the responses would be I'm sure Swin would be in that top 10

A hope, a prayer, four freshmen and Paige Bueckers generated a virtual miracle today!!!!! I don’t mean to slight Nika who played her @ss off, but this sounded more dramatic. 😎 After the game, Geno said that, with Aaliya out, not having a choice helped Ice step up to become the player the team needed her to be today. I think that same circumstance can be applied to Paige. She had to really step up and be the dominant player she needed to be today. Half of the Husky team is sitting on the bench, unavailable due to injury, and three of them are probable starters, and the remaining players, over half just freshmen, step up in the most remarkable way. It’s inspirational to say the least!!! Wow!!!!!
