Imagine if this dude was discovered as quick as someone like Lomenchenko or Joshua... He didn't hit his prime until mid 30's. Could have had years to develop and he would be top on everyones pound for pound list. Still a great success, but I think it's a shame it took so long to get him picked up by a major promoter/trainer.

Everyone in boxing has known about Lomachenko for years. He’s a two time Olympic gold medalist and turned down many chances to turn pro and had all the top promoters in the world fighting over him. Joshua was just jumped on my Hearn for his marketability, boxing wise he’s not great. Fully agree about GGG though, if he had turned pro and gone to America earlier could have been even better, but, unfortunately would have probably had the same problem with people ducking him!

He would have been the goat. He is in my opinion still the best middleweight of all time. That robbery against canelo, would have beaten bernard hopkins 20 title defenses record. They robbed GGG because of 2 reasons.

Очень много посмотрел поединков и могу вынести вердикт Генадию. У него нет особого стиля, он читает соперников как книги и очень вежлив к соперникам. Не использует гадостей и сам пресекает такое. Очень заметно что понимает слабых соперников и делает небольшие уроки Бокса, сильно заметно. Таких бойцов уже очень мало на проф арене. Вот может несколько и осталось таких как Головкин и Емельяненко. Удачи тебе Генадий...

well he looks closer to 140-150 here.. naturally going to be a lot faster than 160-170.

С первых минут боя было понятно, что силы слишком не равные и бой пора остановить, у Кукульскиса не тот класс, но все равно, парень молодец, узнал, что такое классный боксер, с хорошо поставленным ударом! И правильно его тренеры остановили бой, зачем парня калечить, у него ещё все впереди, надо тренироваться, тренироваться и ещё раз тренироваться! Пожелаем ему успехов в его карьере!🇷🇺

GGG's resume is not as bad as people think. He flat out dominated solid fighters like Gabe Rosado, Daniel Geale, Curtis Stevens, and David Lemieux. He did what was expected of him, nothing less.

Посмотри сколько ударов по корпусу выбросил Гена в этом бою... сразу пропало желание боксировать у Мартинса. Жаль что в последних боях Гена слишком зациклен на голове, рыжему бы дыхалку сбить такими ударами в печень и корпус, было бы очень хорошо.

@@Jeki_toki , было бы хорошо, но Рыжий ниже ростом и плотно держит руки. Попасть ему по корпусу очень тяжело. И очень рискованно. Когда бьёшь по корпусу, приходится открываться слишком сильно, а с Рыжиком это слишком большой риск. Так что нафиг надо!))) П. С. Хотя и без корпуса Генка полностью убрал Сауля два раза. Причём во втором бою был даже лучше чем в первом.

Внешне по телосложению никак не скажешь, что Гена бьёт как кувалдой. С виду вроде обычного телосложения парень, а попадёшься такому парню в экстремальной обстановке, будешь думать как бы до реанимации успеть доползти.

Great fight! Golovkin is something special too bad his management wasted his prime, why didn’t he fight Sterum he was German? He could have fought Pavlik, Martinez or Williams? I wish GGG would have fought better opposition. With that, German sounds a lot like English, I understood a lot what the announcer said.

That's Universum fault. For his first 4-5 years as a pro they kept him prisoner fighting in obscure undercards vs dubious opponents. They knew how good and dangerous he was, too risky for the top guys. When GGG came to America he was already 30 years old. They really wasted his prime years, that and all the blatant ducking, never seen anything like it.

"Protect yourself at all times" all I have to say, I box and if you are a true boxer when you here the bell your instincts kick in, he wanted to hug instead of fight. Plus he gave Floyd a cut on the chin from the headbutt (note the headbutt was because of frustration from not being able to hit Floyd)

no one is questioning those points you made. a true champion will win it with dignity especially when you have the ability and are in position to make it through without the fans criticizing you. people paid a lot of money to see you perform, don't take the easy way out.

Все таки на ранних боях присуща любительская школа, что вообще ничем не хуже тем что Геннадий приобрел сейчас (стиль). Каждый соперник Геннадия уже прочитал и финты его а вот любительская школа его, здесь уже тяжеловато будет его соперникам
