    English isn't his first language. He meant the weight. Ward was couldn't even make 168 and GGG goes in at 159 sometimes at weigh ins. GGG's fight weight is around 168. lol They plan on cleaning the middleweight division before moving up.

    Sorry to break it to you but Floyd has always fought with some sort of advantage. It was either a smaller or a past their prime fighter. The only fighter Floyd fought on equal terms or slightly in a disadvantage was against Castillo and to many he lost the first fight. The rest, Hernandez (aging and past his prime), Corrales (facing prison for dv), DLH (past prime), Ortiz (LOL), Mosley (old, past prime), Cotto (past prime). Canelo strong but GREEN fighting him bcause didn't look good with Trout.

    @RicardoGarcia-ds3sr

    9 жыл бұрын

    andre ward brings no money to the table ( yes he might be the best boxer pound for pound - but no one is paying 60-70 dollars to watch him fight) he is a boring fighter. nice guy - but he doesn't fill arenas. froch over seas, cotto in new york, chavez or canelo anywhere will do big numbers. why would he fight ward, especially with ward fighting a never ending battle with his promoter. he's fought like 2 times in 3 years. GGG may or may not beat ward. but he doesn't need him to make exciting big money fights. Ggg is set for a huge 2015

    Ricardo Garcia that's what people say about GGG is that he brings no $,if you wanna be the best you have to fight the best.

  • @RicardoGarcia-ds3sr

    @RicardoGarcia-ds3sr

    9 жыл бұрын

    they have done a great job in building ggg. He is a star and is bordering on being a ppv fighter. Im not sure who says ggg doesn't or wouldn't bring in money. if they did say it they can't say it now. ward is another division than ggg you know that. eventually I'm sure that fight will be made. for now there are big fights at 160. the winner of cotto vs canelo, then he probably moves to 168 to fight chavez then maybe a fight with ward. despite whatever you think about ggg and ward. i can bet you money that RIGHT NOW

  • @RicardoGarcia-ds3sr

    @RicardoGarcia-ds3sr

    9 жыл бұрын

    SORRY i submitted my comment without finishing my thought by accident.... what i was saying was that right now ggg is the money fighter not ward. ward has hurt himself by being inactive. he is a great fighter but his style includes a lot of clinching like hopkins. its boring..... just my opinion... don't mean to offend you if thats what you like. just saying i wouldn't buy his fights on ppv

  • @RicardoGarcia-ds3sr

    @RicardoGarcia-ds3sr

    9 жыл бұрын

    furthermore there is no need for ggg to move up in weight just yet. he is primed to make a boatload of money next year - cotto, chavez, canelo, maybe froch all want to fight ggg. who is ward fighting?? no one. so why would ggg chase ward? when ward fought chad dawson he made dawson come down to 168, because ward was the star out of the 2. and thats boxing- he who brings the fans has the leverage. thats why maidana wore those gloves..... may weather had the leverage. when you mention ggg vs ward, at what weight to you suggest it take place?? should it be at 160 or 168??

    ***** OK a few points need to be made here before we can go making assumptions. 1) Froch and Groves fight at SUPER middleweight 2) Groves is a very big puncher at THAT weight. 3) Golovkin fights at middleweight 4) Groves caught froch with his best shot in the 1st round and carl walked onto it no one is denying that. 5) Groves caught froch again countless times throughout but was unable to stop him, Groves cannot stop froch. 6) Golovkin might not carry his power up to 168 its a big jump. (see Broner) 7) Froch can catch golovkin as he is very open look at his last two fights he got caught ALOT. You cannot right off Froch. Golovkin is a beast I don't deny that.

    GGG avoided by Mayweather and Ward calls out anyone from 154 to 168 that's what he means in code anyone from 154 to 168

    floyd has a title at 154 so what are you talking about 154 is the maximum not minimum weight Paquiao weighed 147 against a margerito 165 so dont make excuses for your man

    people gotta understand as good as golovkin has been he has no name value at all yet so he cant be calling out the top guys yet cause it isnt good business for the risk he is....once he gets some popularity and he can if he fights some named opponents, then he can call out the big names cause he has the style to became a household name.

    I agree with tigerwoodsboyfriend, GGG is too good and hits far too hard for his own good! Kovalev is going to be in the same situation after his demolition job on Nathan cleverly

    I don't Rosado took a fucking beating he may just have a great chin. Certainly better than Sergio's chin. Quinlin is interesting I would love to see him and GGG go at it, but wait this is modern boxing so you know some bs is going to go down.

    Mayweather himself admitted handpicking his opponents in a recent interview.He is great indeed,but not fighting Pacquiao will always be talked.Same for Pacquiao as he didn't fight Floyd as well.In the other hand, Carl Froch fights EVERYBODY.Now we got a true champion.but,well,boxing is about money and Pacquiao and Mayweather were smart enough to use it to their advantage.Catchweights for Pac, careful handpicking by Mayweather. All business but both a shame for not giving back this fight for fans
