First up: On March 30th, 2013, GGG put his WBA gold on the line against tough Japanese, Nobuhiro Ishida.
Second: On February 1st, 2014, Golovkin went for another defense of the WBA strap, again in Monte Carlo. This time against KO artist Adama Osumanu.
Saved the best for last: On February 21st, 2015, in Monte Carlo, he continued his reign and was now testing himself against talented Britain, Martin Murray.

GGG always reminds me of Chavez. A very similar style: short and speedy punches with a lot of fake ones that tire out opponents.
GGG is a humble man , I have never seen him tounting his opponent .

Канело,пока лучший в своем весе, это бесспорно, и что Гена уступил ему во всех 3 боях, это реально…. При всем уважении к своему земляку… жаль, но это факт, не смог он применить то все самое лучшее , что у него есть к Канело, отсюда результат… но так бывает, это спорт… но что Головкин боксер высшего класса, это бесспорно…

GGG lost badly. GGG was not in shape and the necessary boxing condition necessary to take on Canelo. You can tell by studying the condition of the skin on GGG at the end of the fight vs the skin condition on Canelo. When a boxer is at his maximum condition skin rashes and bruises will not manifest themselves like they appear on GGG.. Observe GGG's head. he had rashes, bruises and cuts all over his head, and two blackeyes. What gets me is how a commentator can view the fight and only notice his favorite boxer dong good. Roy Jones called a fair fight. Canelo Alverez clearly won just ask GGG.

GGG did not lose badly. So you're saying you base fights off of facial wounds? You're and absolute shit house. GGG was way of of prime. Alot of wars that made his face tissue softer. Canelo was getting ass kicked at the end of that 2nd fight. Canelo technically lost because GGG was winning most of the rounds and had better success in landed punches. Not once did canelo get GGG to the ropes because he was being outboxed.
GGG is a thingking fighter , every punch has an intention .the last punch was the hardest .it takes his opponent slept 5mi in the canvass .

Golovkin had one of the best runs in boxing history. The fact that all the top middleweights of his time swerved him makes his run even more impressive. Sure we didn’t get to see him beat some of those top names, but he would have absolutely destroyed those guys that ducked him. GGG is a boxing legend

Кроме Канело и Деревянченко, которого он кое как одалел, у него то и не было настоящих чемпионов в соперниках, боксер хороший, но настоящих, захватывающих боев почти нет, как, например у Пакьяо или Дзю старшего…. А у Гены больше боев было с боксерами намного ниже рангом….. к сожалению…
