Genesis #10 - How Does God Change a Family?

Ойын-сауық

In this sermon from Genesis 11-12, Pastor Mark preaches on the calling of Abraham and Sarah to leave their pagan, wicked upbringing, their home, and all that they knew and start a new legacy for their family. This journey took incredible faith and Abraham is saved to receive his place in the family line and genealogy that ultimately leads to Jesus Christ.

I am subservient to my marriage and if it be God's Will, my husband will be delivered from the unclean spirits dwelling within him. I pray In The Lord Christ Jesus Holy Name Amen

Fresh mana, we love you pastor Mark, and we continue to pray that Gods word would continue to spring fourth from this ministry He’s entrusted to you, and that you and family are both blessed, favored and prospered, sir!

God's word is relevant and always timely- I cannot express how deeply I felt those words' truth. This series hits home.

Me too. But I'm in Iowa. I want to visit to. I've been even thinking about moving there. Because this is my church. The information and the way he teaches has taught me more about Jesus and the world than anyone else.

@NorthStateLiberty I don't like humidity either. 😒 but I was told it's a dry heat there, so I need to do more investigation. Plus I do like snow. So then there's that. Lol

I am also where and in a season of waiting. I am not just engaged to a young woman but we have betrothed ourselves to each other. She asked for a house and I had a house built for her. Now the Philippines does not have the tradition of the bride price but when she asked for a house as a wedding gift I explained to her the custom of the bride price and she agreed to abide by the custom. Now I am back in my home state working but not making the income I was before I am still supporting my wife, but I am stuck and cannot get out to finalize our marriage. God has me in a holding pattern. and I feel stuck I can't go forward and I can't go backward. All I can do is sit and waite

Yes, thank goodness. Give the man a break. Just because he's brusque doesn't mean he's a bad guy. I doubt John the Baptist was really popular telling everyone to repent. He told a king to clean up his act. I get a lot of heat because I'm direct. I have to constantly rethink everything I say and rehearse it a lot before I speak or it gets ugly.

Please throw the first stone. That he is perfect, of course not. No one is. Perhaps, he is zealous for The Lord.
