I am starting in 2024 the Bible from 30000 with Pastor Skip. His book The Bible from 30000 Feet is very good also

I always wonder if Calvary Church members know how much they are blessed to have this Man of God as their pastor! We are extended members and I can't preach without listening to Skip, he knows the word of God.

This is amazing. I recently started studying the word of God and developing my relationship with Him more. So thankful for His mercy

I love the way this man tells us the gospel easy-to-understand and gives us a lot of information

This a great concept. I’m new to the Bible and this is really helping me a lot. I started reading the Bible after I was in a near fatal motorcycle accident and my whole life has transformed as I seek the Kingdom.

The segment of Prophet Isaiah just showed up on my phone half hour ago. Love your theme: The Bible at 30,000 feet. The plane idea is great and the colors on the plane super good. Creation and Redemption are the 2 major topics of the Bible. Genesis 1-11 answers all the foundational questions: including the foretelling of our Messiah. One man and one woman, earth being created in one day, male and female, God's plan to send our savior, etc. Apostates do not adhere to the veracity of Geneses 1-11 because they would then have to adhere to these foundational truths.

You said, in reference to Gen 3:1 that the original language for 'the serpent' would be more accurately translated 'the shining one'. On what basis do you say that. I have reference an online tool called The Blue Letter Bible. I cannot find any reference confirming your statement. The closest I can find is a root of H5175 meaning 'enchanter, diviner'.

How can I get the tshirt?

I thought Adam meant black soil until they changed it to red. I get very confused with everyone's opinion of the bible. Skip is good but I guess we have to do our own research. The bible is a complicated book, but by faith we just have to trust God, believe in him, and do his work here on earth.

He was inspired by God to write 5 books within the 40 years that he was with the israelites wondering the desert. When they finally arrived at Canaan he gave the scriptures to Joshua then Moses died outside Cannan.

Great sermon until the part about the transitional fossils, one simple google search proves that incorrect immediately. Very disappointing! We don’t need to lie or misconstrue teachings about evolution to teach genesis.
