The thing I love about the Microfreak is you can sequence up to 64 (on each A and B for each preset, 256 presets) and can change to use any of the provided engines per step. Being able to save Arps as sequences was a great addition in the firmware, too.

Best original affordable music instrument of the last decade imo! Bang for the buck, conceptwise, if they only added a metronome of sorts, but damn! for this sick price microfreack is juat the best arturia product weather soft or hardware. i mean there is the polybrute out there, but 1 polybrute costs 8 or 9 microfreacks. i bought it as it came out 3 years ago and it was so buggy and shitty. i was close selling it. but in the mean time it belongs to one of my fav synths. i am very glad i didn't sell it. and now with the 3 new noise engineering osci's the mf is fucking huge. for that price just unbeatable!!!!!

I wonder, since you're more or less the reverb guy and I'm sure you've been asked this many times, but are there any free or very affordable software/vst reverbs that you'd recommend? Hi Ben, being the technical wizard that you are, I’m hoping you could help me get around a known issues with the microfreak - When i power it off the output jack create a lot of noise (If I use the headphone jack there’s not a problem but it’s a little quieter than the output jack). I’ve read about this problem from others in Arturia’s forums. It’s not a big deal except that when I turn my Canyon delay on or off it triggers that noise for a split second. Very annoying. Getting a three prong adapter make any difference? Any other suggestions? Thank you
