Love and destiny heavenly emperor a close second. This drama though such good actors, characters and combinations. The emperor great on his own, with empress and concubine together quite the threesome. I loved they had one another’s back. And when he went up against his aunt, brilliant.

The way he rose up from the bed when he heard the emperor talking about Shaoshang hahahaha.

And the emporer is upset because he has been shipping them and waiting for them to get married at the palace all this time lol 😝 so he feels cheated. They only married in guo village to please shaoshengs parents. Maybe they have another wedding later for the emperor but it doesn’t show it in the drama

Couldn’t agree with you more! The emperor is so funny and adorable and a great matchmaker 😂. It was also a refreshing change that there was no fighting between the empress and the consort. All of them add a lot to this drama ❤

Drama diluted how manipulative the ML and king both were to FL and to everyone else in general.There was no fighting because empress is mild matured and had accepted the fact that the consort is the one who is loved while she was just there. Consort was courteous to her but she was the one with real power anyway. ML pretended to support the eldest brother but he was actually always plotting against him in favour of consort's son. ' ML is quite manipulative towards FL too. FL was lucky that he took fancy to her otherwise he would have killed her when she accidentally heard him while he was plotting against the crown prince during the hunt. He pretended to save her and all but he was one of the conspirators she had listened to.

Everytime I watched this scene. I have to laugh. The emperor really loves him. "can you be gentle", "don't look at him" "young man recover fast hehehe". Honest. The emperor and those two personel Guards are hilarious.
