Teach Dem, thank you, thank you, thank you so much for having the (real general) on the show, General Trees is my first musical idol... this is the first time watching a Teach Dem interview where I got so emotional... 😭when hearing the General talk about how Jack dealt with him on the business part of the music I couldn't help but shed some tear knowing how huge the General songs was as a youth growing up; he was the man for many years, artists use to fear the General and that's not a joke talk. I watch this man shell down stage shows and dancehall like no other.. I have him as 1 of the greatest to ever do dancehall/reggae music 🎶. Salute mi General 🙌.

Teach Dem! Jack (Black Scorpio) owes it to Trees and family. Jack must just do the right thing and give what is due (Royalties) to the legendary Trees. From Azania (South Africa) 🇿🇦
General Trees one of my top three. Artists always say that they were robbed of royalties yet when Khago went for what is his many out there criticized him. Get your royalties Trees. .
I met General trees on more than one occasion and he is one of the most humble and wonderful entertainer there is. He does not possess any "Diva" attitude unlike 99% of artist. Big up yourself General , yuh large. May God grant you prosperity and a long and healthy life.

Blessings. This should be a good interview..One of the best. Blessings. Health, Health.
These artiste in the 80s was so much in love with the music and so loyal that they were blind to the financial aspect of the business, my apology for their lack of monetary fun and support while giving us so much joy with their talent, these producers should be ashamed of themselves.
Humblest interview I’ve on your channel so far. Maximum Respect to you Teach Dem. Richest Blessings to you Sir General Trees. Wishing a full recovery 🙌🏾💯💪🏾✊🏾

One of the only man that could hold a sound from the beginning of a dance to the end by his self, real general!!!!
You can hear the humbleness in this man interview, all the artist or the people that he mention throughout his interview, he regards them as “Good Youth”. This says a whole lot about him.
It’s so funny Trees rate San , and San say trees in his prime was his hardest battle. They both have each other as number 1
They need to pay trees him royals off his songs nuff love and respect. I remember I saw him years ago in boulevard super center he was humble and jovial
Respect mi General your contribution to reggae music is superb, can't forget seeing you on stage shows with your gimmics you're an actor and comedian mixed in the thing.

I’m tuning in all the way from Connecticut ...See General Trees a few times in Connecticut and New York.
Consistent threads of tea demand interviews: producers rub the artistes Little or no institutionalize schooling Jamaicans promoters are not to be trusted The death of large stage shows in Jamaica Many artiste have great love for the music over money Many of the old artiste miss the love of the old days
Trees was my shoe repair man at Mrs Fearon, on Davidson Avenue. He would DJ to us then, way before Scorpio came around! He would say "I'm gonna fix your shoes googidy", so as kids we called him GOOGIDY. Much love and respect! He went to Jack with his talents and he got exploited!

Teach Dem, pretty soon you can play your own Dub Plates (as they call your name in special tunes). More importantly, you can start lecturing on the history of dancehall and reggae with unique content and even write books. You have received gems directly from the talent. Proud of you and your works. We can now put faces to the music we have enjoyed. Thank you for your classes, as we are your students. The messages have certainly reached us. Blessings !!
That's the reason why Jamaican producers think that the song belongs to them because artists like this from back in the days didn't expect or want anything
Some of these stories hurt mi heart. Why these producers have to be so greedy and evil.Blessings and favor on your life Trees, you are one of the true greats.

Respect . I say the doctors name before trees speak it . Legendary . Teacher's build teachers. Bless up! Trees.
Lovely interview, was my special artist however, very poor concept of working and earning. Mr Trees still misunderstood what it meant to work and earn, and reap the fruits from your labour. I am glad that Beanie man never end up like Mr Trees, of working without earning. I also hope that his children succeed in life and has a concept opposite Mr Threes. Overall painful to watch a man still defending loyalty over earnings. Teach dem, you are sure highlighting not only the veterans of the music, but also the evil of dance hall.
