Not really bro. Such teachers are rare even in IITs. You can't depend on the teachers. Ultimately you would have to work hard on your own and have a good circle of like minded people if you want to do anything special.

Everyone commenting 'How come students at IITs are so dumb?' Guys, these students are from other engineering colleges who have come to attend the workshop. HC Verma used to teach full time at IIT Kanpur. Why would he organise a separate 3 day workshop to teach the same things separately? Get some sense folks

I'm a commerce student but after watching this I just remember my 9th class physics book and now I got the actual practical answers to those defination... Love it too much... Simple to understand Newton's law when you get such teacher.

I am from Commerce stream but still loving this lecture. If a teacher like him was in my school I would have definitely taken Science. Glad to see we have so much of talent in our country.😇

Excellent teaching. The teaching style of sir Dr. HC Verma is extremely appreciable.he make the students and classroom Enthusiastic . If all the teachers follow this great professor, then the education in India would increase to heights.

Indian government should give enormous respect for teachers like Verma sir ...so that one day India could become Vishwaguru again.... 🙏

Just respect for teachers won't do much. You need to revamp the whole education system and you need to make changes in the reservation quota system. You can't expect to become a "Vishwaguru" by not looking at grassroot level problems.

I studied Science until 12th grade and then I quit Science...fast forward to the present day (a few months ago), at age 35, I decided to study Maths and Quantum Physics thanks to Sri H.C Verma. Although I'm not sure if this would help me with my career which is more to do with Content writing. But hope to learn much more on this journey. I am grateful to Sri. H.C Verma and of course thanks to KZread through which I came to know of this legendary Educationist and Scientist.

I can't help but assume that you're naturally curious and interested in science because of the fact that you decided to study Math and Physics seemingly out of nowhere after all these years. 4. Are you wondering why I'm being so nosey rn? Well lol idk why but your comment seems like something I myself would comment when I'm 35. I'm planning on taking up English literature after 12th and yea I'm being treated as a weirdo for it. It is really a great experience to listen to Dr. H C Verma, the genius of Physics in simplest way

Wow what a teacher! It’s the first time I’m seeing him even after knowing his name for so long! Also, the Indian education system needs a huge reform and this class full of engineering students is proof.

He is so interactive during entire lecture ❤️❤️ Legend of Physics for a reason 💓

According to me explanation of first must be- •Fingers acting as fulcrum •palm (end part of hand__✋) apply force on one end of stick "Downward" •and Bag on other end also Downward When bag is closest to finger means on fulcrum , you only have to apply 20N force by your Fingers in upward direction only (as you are carrying a vegetable bag), no role of palm comes till now. The point is the person have to apply more Force than 20N because as horizontal distance of bag increases (force by bag remain 20N) from finger the Torque on bag end will increase so as on to the other side (palm side) but palm distance from the finger is not increasing so you have to apply more than 20N Force downward to be in rotational equilibrium. Now the intresting part the Fingers have to equalise both downward forces form bag+palm ,, hence the muscles which are supporting fingers strain more. Note:- muscles which are supporting plam is differnt form finger supporting muscles. Hence net force required to keep the bag at rest by our hand Increases.. No violation of Newtons law. ☮️ I chek the comments to check what other indian students explains about Sir's questions and what I get- "Ye iit vaale hai ya nagar palika vaale...ye arts vaale lagte hai (according to any sensible person -Arts vaale bhi desh chalate hai)... Ye dekho IIT me sc/st vaalon ka haal (jisne bhi ye comment kia vo jaan le that I am a SC and a 1st year Medical student ,topped in my district in 12th CBSE ,,, but who categories us though. Every Nation develops and progress only when All individuals respect each others. Not by dominating others.

Though I am 4th year Engineering Student still I Love his way of teaching. We use to see science as a subject before Engineering but now because of teachers like him. I am now well Educated about life, Nature and science. As I have been taught by my close teacher that science is the only way to explore nature , our presence and hopefully, at the end we would know our presence in our world. The love and passion of science can be seen in these teachers, and that what motivate me to love science.

I don't know it is his aura or something else but this is the most ENGAGING class I have ever come across !!!! KUDOS!!!!

Although I'm a commerce student, but I'm still watching the whole video because I was failed in my 12th because of Mathematics integration, differentiation, but I was good with HC. Verma, he's a legend! :)

Educators talk a lot about STEM but do a little in the classroom, see this great humble teacher-every teacher of our country must learn from him-how to teach. We speak a lot in training but unfortunately practice nothing in the classroom. So start doing some selfless work for future of our country. If all teachers will contribute, it will bring great change in students. All- what we say -problem solving, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, innovative ideas, logical reasoning will develop.

KZread recommended this video to me and I'm watching this after I finished my studies and started my own clothes business about 8 year ago and still enjoying this video.

Here sir giving us greatest tip to learn and enjoy science ...we need to learn it by experiments and observation (and this is what we called science).........but coaching instutute and our education system insisting us to do the opposite ....but don't worry guys it's difficult not impossible

engineering student from the 1980s. retired now, and still enjoy staying in touch with some of this subject matter. HCV is incredibly knowledgable, engaging, and enjoyable. I'd have loved to have had him as a prof.
