It is needless to say that I have already subscribed to your channel, and I have started to watch the videos of your lectures. They are addictive even without the required level of knowledge in physics. I only wished my teachers and professors were as enthusiastic about teaching their subject matter as you are. Well that would require i) Enthusiastic teachers and also students capable of being enthusiastic BUT even more importantly - All the money required for these demonstrations and experiments and also for enough salary to the teachers like in this case.I learn the topics taught here in 11 and 12th grade in high school and although my teachers don't have such charisma, all they can do is tell and also making an effort by themselves for doing something extra would require some work which they can't justify in front of teaching the way they do now.

Most of what he teaches in these lectures is high school physics, I guess US colleges do that to string out the course to extract more money from the students. That’s why a U.S. bachelor degree takes four or five years while a U.K. bachelor degree takes three years. He is lecturing to dozens of students, if you understand economy of scale that means far more resources can be put into his lecture than a high school teacher can put into a lesson. His practical demonstrations will be resourced and set up by lab technicians, not by himself. I am a Physics teacher, many of these comments are what I call the “Bill Nye Effect”- I show a younger class an episode of Bill Nye the Science Guy and they say “why can’t our lessons be like that?”!

I do not even know where to start from. I absolutely love your lectures. I cannot dare imagine the hardwork that goes into preparing them.! I mean, if I wasn't told to check out your lectures by a friend, I would have missed this great work! I'm currently in the XII grade, and Electrostatics is like the first unit of our physics book which comes in totally scary two big volumes. And such scary books really don't serve the motivational purpose. I'm more like depressed reading it. And when you don't have a Physics teacher at your school, you have no option but to rely on your capability of comprehending things as printed and published down in the book. So eventually when topics like AC and Waves started bouncing of my head when I didn't even have the basics of electrostatics cleared, I got demotivated enough. I had started hating the subject and the beauty behind physics faded somewhere there. But, ever since I've started watching your lectures, my love for physics has rekindled. I cannot thank you enough for that. And right now, I am so gravely jealous of these students who got to sit in your lectures and watch you live at MIT. I'm a big fan! Damn! I so much wish that I could see you in person and then I would have learnt to draw them sleek dotted lines.! :)

The question is suppose it's raining with some constant velocity and a boy have to go through distance D so should he run as fast as he can or walking at different velocities makes no difference, the condition is he should get less wet. Or if walking slowly or running fast makes difference how can we show it mathematically. After not getting a satisfactory answer. I worked on this question. it took me 7 days working whole day and late night and I came to derive an expression which would answer many such questions and can be used to calculate more information during rain. The outcomes from the equation is really mind boggling. I've defined some new terms which can make make the equations (theory)useful. It is almost 32 pages long. seriously I do not even like physics which is taught in schools, I read some about modern physics out of the school's curriculum, and it is so fun to know about the dual nature of electrons, I guess our bad point of view on physics is from the way they teach us... It's my last year in school but even though I didn't find the coolest way in schools to teach a fun subject like physics, as you know what you need you get it on the first platform you open cause social media know you more than your self, although these videos are 7 years ago, it's still a masterpiece, now I can say I found a teacher who teaches in the right way which mixes science with fun, although my passion tends to medical terms I won't stop listing to your videos, sir ... these students who saw the lecture live are super lucky...at the end thanks sir to make our point of view changes towards something important like physics.💞

Hii Sir, this is Ashutosh (from my dad's account ). I really want to thank you for your lectures which are indeed masterpiece. I aimed to join IIT Bombay and was preparing for its entrance exam which is on 3rd April. Every teacher teaching IIT aspirants, suggested me to solve questions from I.E.Irodov and H.C.Verma for physics . But I was not able to solve questions from either of the books .They were really hard for me. It was a week ago when I open youtube to learn electrostatics and I saw your videos. I started watching your lectures which helped me a lot to solve those questions. I can now solve those questions in very less time. I am left with entire physics but electrostatics to solve . I watch your 3-4 videos on a chapter , open my books and solve questions. I have wasted nearly 1 year and now I only have 3 months for my exam. However , I won't lose hope and continue studying. Your videos really inspire me.
