Almost 30 years later, and I still ball my eyes out with this story and this scene. GH at its peak!! And my goodness her reaction asking if she said Ty just opens the flood glates 😢😢😢 Robin as little Maxie, what an AMAZING performance!! Can't believe they let this amazing child go, but thank you to the talented people who share these with us, you're SO AMAZING 😍

@crystalmarincola I agree about Robyn Richards wholeheartedly. She should have had the tenure on the show they gave to Kimberly McCullough, another outstanding child actor who grew into a wonderful teen & adult actor and character. Instead they traded what they had for an actor from another soap for no other reason but to get ratings. Since then Kirsten Storms has had nothing but leave of absences while she deals with her weekly "illnesses". But she still has a job & RR is no longer acting. So unfair.

I don't know how she had to prepare or think to pull out these 'raw emotions' she had express in losing her cousin and yet gaining her new heart from her, but this sweet girl pull out all of the top stops and gave her performance of a life time. GH got damn lucky with the Luke n Laura chemistry. When Gloria Monty decided to roll the dice with "Night at the disco", and having the sexual tension between Luke n Laura BEFORE the "Night At The Disco" changed everything. Many are not aware GH ratings were so bad by early 79 ABC decided to cancel the show. They were suppose to be off the air Jan 1980. Amazing how 1 woman changed everything.

Look I love Kirsten Storms, but if Robyn Richards was fired because she wasn't a good enough actress I beg to differ after watching these scenes. Us GH viewers could've watched her grow up as an adult Maxie like we watched Kimberly McCullough grow up as Robin, or Erin Torpey grow up as Jessica & Kristen Alderson as Starr on One Life To Live, and Camryn Grimes as Cassie on The Young And The Restless. ☹️

Dianne B. Dee - The person playing the character now is more messed up in real life hence her lack of storylines. She’s always taking time off.

@@christinaluv1065 Do you know why?? She's had several brain tumors over the years that almost killed her... so she had to have brain surgery to remove them and it takes a long time to recover from the surgeries she has had... this didn't happen just once, the tumors came back multiple times every so many years so she's lucky to just be alive let alone to be able to return back to the soap and still act and remember lines... Maybe you should know what you're talking about before you go trashing someone and bad-mouthing them when you don't know what they've been through she had a very good reason to take off and actually she didn't have a choice so maybe you'll want to read think you're ignorant comment

+Sarah Okc I know same with Frisco, they loved Maxie so much when she was born, I know Frisco left the show but they could have written a better storyline then him being an absent Father then Felicia.. and then Mac raising maxie.. My favorite couple of all time was Felicia and Frisco. And the storylines back then were so much better.. i miss the old GH..

Wow, this is sad. I remember the storyline well. BJ's heart and Stone's death. Both amazingly touching storylines. I stopped watching GH some time after the Stone/AIDS storyline. Life just got in the way. From the comments that I've been reading, the show has gone downhill. I should tune in sometime and judge it for myself.
